I always worry about the truss rod rattling inside the neck after gluing the fretboard on and before tightening the truss rod. How do you make sure yours do not rattle. I guess it can probably be silenced by tightening it and putting on the strings, but still.

By putting a dap of silicone coulk on the trussrods end.

@@aether_antares7761 On my first one, I did put a few dabs (probably not enough), but it still rattles without string tension. I cut the slot width perfectly, but I think I was just a hair too deep due to the end blocks not being flush. On the next build, I'll put more and also a thin strip of hardwood over the truss rod before gluing.

Very nice job, thank you for sharing your work. Do you think all the process is optimized or could it be improved ? For example, machining the fretboard after having it glued on the neck ?

I was wondering about that too. Some builders can do this because they have experience and know what needs precision attention and what does not. I used toothpicks to align my fret slots to the neck centerline precisely and then routed the outside of the board like you said.
