Toys are for kids you tell her when a rc car can break an ankle if you get hit with it because is can drive around 100 mph it a considered a hobby and but some women have their own set of toy to help them relax and this is your stress releasing hobby

in theory it's prity much the same controls as a multyrotor , in practice it's it's a totally different ball game haha not that i have ever flown one i just know a few people who do

Kev, when soldering those small servo wires, use the smallest amount of solder to limit the amount of resistance your adding to the wire 👍

I have a 450 and 500. And always thought they were BIG. A 600 is a monster sized heli. Awesome Build! Align Helis fly Amazing. Always wanted to build one with a Glow engine. This might be the Motivation I Needed.

Get a vbar Control and a neo. You can Setup the flybarless unit via Radio and has rescue function. Also obviously Nitro govenor and so on.

Nice machine. It’s changed a bit since I last had a T Rex 600. Enjoy it but don’t forget you need to register with the CAA before you fly.

Big heli you say? Buy a 700 or 800 😅😬😬 Also handy tip for the clutch assembly, if you buy a nylon piston stopper that threads into the glow plug hole it'll keep the piston pushed to bottom dead centre to save having to grip the fan with your hands 🤙🏽 Also with the governor you've probably used them before but getting a set of blanks so you can essentially connect to a cut wire without soldering, and just crimp new pins onto them. Some instances soldering hinders the feedback through the wire, almost like a bit of a capacitor it stores energy. Loving the builds tho, thoroughly entertaining 😁😁

Had lots of helcopters,not good,but this one is the biggest one I ever seen, I'll stay w with my Drones and crawlers and drift car's,but leave it to Kevin,trys everything, your so cool,I would really love to meet you in person,I'm the same way here in the USA,wish I could spend one week with you in the UK, and run the RC every day ,and tade some tricks to each other,keep it up Kevin, I'm just as bad with RC here in usa

Kev the rotor pitch values are actually quite important. Each airfoil has an efficiency range, once the pitch because too great you will lose lift and the helicopter will drop like a rock. You are correct that you can correct it in the field while flying. Most guys go crazy tuning the pitch to perfection in order to get the best performance but eyeballing it while flying would still give you the performance you are looking for

I learnt to fly on a 450 trex, cost me like 2500 euro before I could fly, still can't do inverted, that messes with my head, like your skills on the smaller grasscutters 😁😁 Got nearly all sizes of them trex, s they rock 👍can't wait to see your maiden. Ohh and a small dab with 270 locktite is plenty enough on the featheringshaft bolts, that's gone be hell to replace. 😜

Very cool, I'm not into heli's, but love seeing all the bits go together on any RC product !! Gotta say, looks like a monster !!! And yes, it's a toy, just not a kid's toy. If you stop playing, if you stop having fun, then you are probably dead, and just not buried yet. Playing and having fun is not age related, it's a part of life.

Helicopters were the gateway RC that lead to my full blown RC addiction. Whenever I show someone my collection they inevitably ask, which RC is your favorite? My answer...the next one!
