I really appreciate your sharing this video. As a fellow entrepreneur I feel for ya. What you said is exactly what I've been going through for the past 7 years. But now that things are doing great, I decided I too need to print my brand on boxes. Your insights, and knowledge will help me do what I need to do. Thank you for sharing. :-)

Cam. You will feel the same way about the VOLT. I had a friend tell me if you get an auto the orders will come. IT IS SOO TRUE NO MATTER WHAT YOU THINK. Anatol is a brand I believe in. Only have the press (Anatol Volt 8s 7 color). It has transformed us, it has tripled our business. The word gets out, the quality and the turn around. Been screen printing over 20 years and I learn from people who follow you. An awesome resource. Don't hesitate if you have a business that is getting close to max. It will grow!

Aww man, this was so good! I've been putting days of time into learning screen printing and I've seen a ton of your videos. This one was awesome because I completely resonate with speaking to others but the message is for myself. Progress is progress, the important bit is that you recognize even one "ting" a day is substantial ground gained when in reality so many gave up after one "ting". As much as I wrote this message for you, I wrote it for myself hahaha. All the best brother, subscriber earned!

I’m a big fan of yours. Keep using affirmations and other self help tools. I think people that do big things whether they admit it or not, believe in these things. I’ve been a screen printing KZfaq junky for the last six weeks or so. We print a lot of swag shirts for our business with other printers and really want boxes. With covid, I need to find a way to keep my team busy in an industry shut down do to covid.
@SnakeArtist
@SnakeArtist 3 жыл бұрын
What I have done is get the boxes that the T-shirts arrive in and pull them apart. You can put them back together inside out and have a clean surface to print on. Some of my clients are very environmentally conscience so this is a way of both branding and recycling. Whenever I do a run of new boxes I am always looking around the studio to see what else I can print on.

Hey Cam, New Print fam member out south of you in Marana Az. Just wanted to say that I NEEDED that pep talk this morning, I woke up and went out to my shitty half outside shop that I'm working on with my shitty 4 color press that I'm starting with. Got everything set up and half assed about three shirts because I didn't take the time to register them properly. Long story short I KNEW I missed a step and thought I could eye ball it.. Wrong. I got depressed and tore down, went inside to think and look up some vids on registration. Found this one, listened to you, got a redbull and am jumping back on this horse. Anyway, there's a ton of shit I have to get in order to get my vision to come to fruition but stepping back dropping the sledge hammer and "tinking" some things will help. So thank you brother and keep fighting the good fight!

@@ThePrintLife Tried to post a link to an image, it didn't work. It's the display lens from an aircraft radio the KR-87. It has a perfect edge for scraping the platten, but is soft enough plastic to not mar the surface. I've worked in avionics for too long, so I end up re-purposing aviation stuff in my shop. :-)

We’ve been using big canvas zipper duffles to deliver orders to contractor type clients, duffle is built into the cost on the first order, and they get a $25 credit for bringing it back. Plus it has our contact info and branding on it, so it’s a durable marketing piece, PLUS there is a little incentive to call us first on jobs because of the credit. It’s an all around win

Its a difficult question to answer as all components are equally important to produce a good product but if i had to provide an answer i wud have to say the computer i guess. If i cant produce quality art/films the rest of the process is pointless imo. Also its where i blast my music from. Right behind that in 2nd place is my beer fridge. Nothing like crackin open a frosty one after a long ass run. Boxes look great btw. Im curious what the matsui rep will tell you. I was guna use solvent ink so i can print on the poly bags at the same time. But that stuff stinks! Anyway thx for the vid!
