I had the Ignis, 1.5. Loved that little beast. Only got rid because the clutch was far too expensive to replace. :( Awesome car.

Only got rear driven if the front wheels loose grip. It is called an Haldex Clutch

But why don't the rear wheels turn when i try stopping the front ones? 😅 Or how can i test the system when off the ground?

@@LifeofSmokey I think all wheels need to be on the ground so they have the same speed. And when the front and rear wheels have a speed difference, then the haldex will activate.

And if this not work, then you have an electrical problem. Maybe a fuse or broken wiring.

@@Youri.46 its all mechanical on these, there is a type of slip differential on the centre of the rear tailshaft that has clutch discs in it that wear out

The backwards mounted wheels could damage the suspension. See if there is anyway to fit them with the spacers

Nope should get different wheels , but the car is not gonna last long anymore haha

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news the 1.3L subaru justy/ suzuki ignis where never given 4wd it was only the 1.5L engines that have the 4wd system.

Nope mine has the driveshaft to the back wheels as well haha. It worked when i bought it but have done some crazy driving with it and i think i broke something haha

@@LifeofSmokey fair enough, only ever seen 1.5 have 4wd. But I stand corrected, may be the viscous coupling. loving the channel and humour, Keep it up.
