That was some tough going for sure! I personally think that a lot of KZfaqrs abuse drone footage, squeezing it in where it absolutely doesn't belong, but for jobs like these I think it'd work great. Not only to show of the work being done but also to show angles and parts of the build that might be hard to get with just a GoPro.

Definitely nice when the homeowner is surprised his pond is gonna be larger than he thought it would be. Jerry is awesone at bustin' out rock and Arron has seriously grown in experience on the dozer. Another successful day in the life of the Dirt Perfect crew endevours.

DP, your local NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service, a branch of USDA) has soil survey data for the whole state. Most of it is published. Whether published or not, you can access it free of charge. It might well have indicated shallow to bedrock or boulders for this area and this soil type and have assisted you and Matt in bidding. It’s a good tool to use. Hope this helps.

The homeowner is happy to see it's bigger than he thought it would be. That's success in any pond builders book.

A thought that occured to me on the last pond build was, If you took a drone fly around at the start of every job on the virgin ground then another when it was half way complete showing the transformation thus far, then one on completion of the job would highlight just how much work went into it and showcase the companies abilities and skills, as far as I am aware no other channel does anything like it....yet !. you would start a trend Mike - but would forever be known as the guy who started it all. A second thought occured too, could you not find a similar sized cab to that on the roller that already had air con in situ and fabricate it into place ? I'm sure you would be able to find space on the belts for the compressor .....you would need to find a good welder though .......sorry Aaron couldnt help myself lol you know I luvs yer reeeely !.

Further comments may ensue 😁 Could some of that rock be used as a dissipator pad for the overflow or would that just be pointless on a dam this size and slow fill/drain style? It is absolutely amazing that your dirt on all your jobs is always close to optimum moisture and you are able to obtain density without supplementing moisture with a water truck. Here in central Texas we can’t build a single lift without using a water truck. Love seeing how different things are across the country. Keep up the great work

I never would have thought that you could make all that rock look that good. He shouldn’t ever have a problem with muskrats burrowing through the dam. I do have concerns about it leaking in places where there’s a lot of rock but I think it will hold water.

I’d say the first day was a trying day but you and your men did some awesome teamwork on building the core for this dam a little bit of a rocky start 😅but you and the men whoop it right into place and having Jerry on the 850-J doing what he does so smoothly and MBTS on his roller machine with no air conditioning it looked rough at the start but at the end of the day it was looking pretty darn good.Hell of day DP 👍😎🇺🇸 NY

When it comes to rock a good ripper tractor makes a big difference. Rock is hard on the operator and the equipment but the job hast to be done so you just keep grinding. Add it until the job is complete. You guys are doing an awesome job. keep up the good work big ED coming to you from Central city Kentucky. Have a great and awesome day PS Aaron I used to do the same thing and felt really bad the next morning I got older and I quit with those wobble pops and I feel better. Just a thought.
