Building a DIY Campervan

This is the first part of my classic VW van conversion. Endless effort and finally some progress on the iconic van from the 80's.
In this part of the camper conversion I did the insulation and installed the floor, walls, the ceiling and the first lights that will decoreate and illuminate the van interior.
Just adding my passion of work with tools in this job to create my dream campervan by my own, the way I like it, the way I feel it has to be. Simple, funcional and aesthetic.
There is a lot more to come about this DIY camperization, stay tuned for future episodes about my current project.

I saw a lot of videos of the combi camper van, it was always teams helping each other to finish the work, I decided to embark on this project with my group of friends, but in the end I found myself all alone. Seeing this guy do this all alone gave me the strength to continue ... Life is a battle that we must fight alone Otherwise , amazing video 🙌👏👏

Rodrigo, I absolutely loved this DIY and conversion you are doing with your VW van. The wholesome smile of accomplishment and the clap you do of success says a lot. I used to have a 70 VW Beetle, and a 68 VW van, that had louvered windows, that I converted, everybody gives you the Peace symbol when you are driving down the road, yours looks in great shape, you did a great job on it

Rodrigo, nice work. May I suggested that you also use a sanding respirator, or wear a mask, when using angle grinder. A person might get sick after inhaling large quantity of small particles (less than 2.5 micron in diameter) that rubbed off during the grinding process.

The project is unique for two reasons: visual execution of the work (for those who want to repeat it), and attention to detail! Does the minibus have its own name? Do you process coffee just for color? unique technique!

Great idea with the coffee and stain. I was curious why didn't you line the walls with thick sound deadener, or that black foam with a sticky back and you used what looked like MDF offcuts as batons to screw the ply too MDF on its edge splits when screwed. the doors have big cavities too for sound deadener and you could have screwed into the door frames and put a nice plastic cap over the screw heads. In saying this your van is magnificent love the colours.
