you will want a coil over shock at the center pivot so the bike can really stand on its own and dampen any flex between the bike and side car. this way you can lean both ways as needed but it has enough resistance that the bike does not fall into the side car as well as allow the sidecar to be better supported if you are off the bike.

@@AmbitionStrikes that's a great build man, but obviously, you never had a motorbike with a sidecar... you need a third point attached to your e-bike, higher than those two... preferably using a small suspension for flexibility... or adjustable [using a big screw... and the 3 points where the sidecar connects to your e-bike should be small ball points [like we use to attach a big trailer to a car, but small...] you can check any market motorbike's sidecar to see what I mean... I've been riding old BMWs with sidecars all of my life... this thing is an accident ready to happen...

Riley's parents must be amazed and so proud of what their son can do and has done. The side car for the electric bike is epic and watching his parents ride in it was just awesome! I am sure they are especially pleased that he found and married Courtney. And now, a Grandson. You know what we witnessed? We saw what happens when Ambition Strikes!

Riley's parents are probably amazed he's still alive! LOL But no doubt the Grandparent's are all very proud of these two for everything they have accomplished! It's good that he has Courtney to remind him of what's important and keep him grounded. I hadn't thought about it until I read your comment, but Oliver does add a new slant to the Channel's title. LOL

I like how they slide the products into the videos as part of the story. Very slick, very good entertainment. The VP of marketing at the Engwy e-bikes company was probably pretty happy with his product being part of a 30 minute video about something very cool.

@@markmitchell457 actually, I feel that they are up front about any sponsors or review products. Some folks brag about something and never mention the sponsorship. I prefer it when content creators just say it and are honest about what helps them put out videos. Like xyz sent me this and I haven't been able to try it a whole lot yet...say your lines and get paid is fine too as long as you are open about it

Riley is a clever chap for sure, and at 8lb 8oz I think it's good job the little fella was 3 weeks early. He is going to have a great time growing up with you guys for parents. What a cute little baby, my wife and I were surprised he got here so soon, but we are sure glad he is here safe and sound and now we all can enjoy watching him grow up! And that sidecar is really something Riley, someday he will enjoy riding along in that! You guys have earned a well deserved rest (actually, Courney likely deserves the most rest since she did the most work!) so we will miss you guys while you are taking a sabbatical, but we look forward to your soon return!

Maybe Ad an upper arm for mor stability looks cool already . Some nice lights Front and back and a bit of thin angle Iron to keep the outer shell from flexing and make less noisy. But i think it will be Lots of fun on your first family bike tour

Remember that with no brakes on the sidecar, you'll have lots of extra weight to stop. Longer distances. Now, add a battery, headlight and taillight, side marker lights, and a horn! Well, maybe not the horn. Or, you can get a squeezee-bulb oogah horn! Plus, paint that puppy!

Don't underestimate your kid or think time doesn't go fast. Our one year old is already on a strider "woom" bike, rides with lifted feet, does wheelies and goes over curbs. You might also explore "shotgun or mac ride seats" for rough terrain. Your kid is going to have the best childhood!

Just a word of advice on the side car, after building my own back in the day. I found it needed a hydraulic damper between sidecar frame and cycle frame for safety, stability, and a very much smoother ride. Hope suggestion helps.

First of all, Congratulations with a healthy and handsome son! Second, I did not see such a pivoted attachment done before. It seem to work with e-bike so much better than a traditional motorcycle rigid attachment! You guys are so good at making things work for you!!
