Building a Duplex in 2022

This video is not entirely related to DJing, although DJing on the weekends is what has allowed me to fund this project.
This is a video of the part of the process and my approach in building a duplex.
Details:
-Lot size: .33 acre
-Each unit is 1,068 SqFt
-2 bed, 1.5 bath
-1 car garage (250 additional SqFt)
-brand new appliances
-white shaker cabinets
-American Craftsmen windows
-Superior Spray Foam insulation
-GAF 3D shingles
-Delta fixtures, toilets, and tub/shower intserts
-Lifeproof Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring
-Trinity Doors
-Champion Heat Pump (HVAC)
-Rheem electric water heaters

Wow that’s awesome. I’m also engaged and I’m glad to see another newly wed couple being able to do this. Congrats man. May I ask, how long did this take you? And how much did it cost? And did you ever need to borrow money from anyone? Thank you.

Where did you get the design for this? How much was the land, permits, and total build? How much does it rent for now?

I designed it myself with a certified planner. $100/sqft to build. A unit rents for $1200

@@SoireeSounds really good numbers, say $220k to build, and $2400/mo rent, well beyond the "1% rule". Awesome property man, keep it up. Do you mind if I ask what location? Would love to get into something like this myself. I have good credit and some savings, but stuff in my area is just .. expensive. I'd have to find somewhere nearby that's cheaper, to invest, I think.
