Building the heli was a tricky one but i go through how to build one and talk you through my final design

I swear angle sensors are practically a must if you have any intention of making a helicopter functional for grabbing salvage. Like jesus ive just about started pulling my hair out trying to do without... so now I gotta go back up and grab that stuff with some plane. I had some god awful monster quad thing that barely got me up there, then I switched to my submarine truck and jumped off with whatever salvage I could and hoped to land in the shallows... did it twice succesfully.

I just slapped a tractor beam on the pre-made plane and flew out of the volcano with the salvage

you need a speed sensor 'AND' gate logic and a Distance sensor. If i remember.. Speed sensor set to 0 and you use a piston to activate the Distance sensor. you plug speed sensor and Distance sensor into 'AND' gate (meaning both have to be on to give an output) connect the output to gimble engines. meaning the gimbles will not work, unless the piston is activating the Distance sensor, the speed sensor will come on the moment you stop any lifting force. here is a short on the speed sensor kzfaq.infoYPcFosLBP0w?feature=share
