Building a Homemade Grapple for a Compact Tractor

This homemade grapple is 55 inches wide, opens up to 30 inches and compares in size to a lot of manufactured grapples for this size of tractor. So far it is preforming great and holding up to abuse. I’m using the grapple on a Kioti LK3054

I'd get some street 90s for the cylinder instead of the jic fittings to get the hoses closer to the body

pretty cool man, i think people get a little wrapped up with extras, i woulda skipped the bushings and grease zerks unless your putting 40 hours a week continuously on it, im bout to build a grapple and its for a subcompact tractor and i aint goin nuts im just gonna make it work, i might splurge on some paint lol

Well I was impressed, the only why I could make a grapple is if I had another one to copy and or blue prints, making something from a mental picture is talent. I think the best improvement would be, is somehow move grapple lever up next to loader lever. Also thats an awesome welding bench, looks like a $1000.00 table........ So how much do you think this grapple weighs? My guess is 250 lbs........

Thanks! The table only cost me about $400 to build and the grapple does weigh about 250lbs. Good guess
