I realize for the most part you were building the shelf queens however, for those newbies out there, getting yourself a set of arm reemers is a great way to have a race ready vehicle

Great video Keith as always, it's always fantastic to see a buggy built from NIB that most of your viewers will never come across. However the star of the show was (I'm assuming) your son 🤣.

The Kyosho shocks have always been a really great piece of kit, IMO. The old Platinum spec units from the late 80's were about as good as I've ever seen.

I have only built a rere Kyosho Beetle but I have the say that Kyosho chassis are a pleasure to build. That's one sweet looking chassis so far. Look forward to seeing it done . It would be interesting to see how the new Dirt Master is like compared to what it's based on . P.s. sorry if I was making too much noise at 17.21 Keith , you told me off so I sat quietly 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I remember from back in the day my local hobby shop was owned by a Kyosho fan. I was more into Tamiya and every year he would give me a big glossy Kyosho catalogue pretty much only for the retailers to use with all these amazing photos of cars, machinery planes and helicopters etc. After about four years I gave in and bought a Javelin. I still have the catalogue and the Javelin. Great build mate.

I have one of these. I bought it while I was living in Japan 2010-ish I think. It had already been built, I think it might have been a shop display model or something, cause it hadn't been run. Mine has what I think are hop up shock bodies, they are darker which I think is teflon. I also have an RB TypeR (which I think you mentioned at the end of this vid). The tub chassis on those is exactly the same as this buggy (RB5). I have run my RB5 a bit, it's a very good buggy, handles well, doesn't turn in as well as a B4 out of the box, but that can be tuned in. This car was very much a contemporary of the B4, or at least the B4's later years. The RB TypeR is more like the B3. I think the Dirt Master will be pretty good considering it is based on this buggy.

It looks great and I think this is by far a nicer buggy then the Dirt Master but I am stalking the the websites waiting for it to show up so I can get one on order! I hate when they announce stuff 5 months before it is going to hit the shelves but I am still impatiently waiting LOL! I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the body!

Just seen a video on the Dirt Master, I'm not really impressed with it, majority of it is plastic. Your RB5 is a far better model.
