Altijd luchtgaten tegenover de ingang aan de achterkant en dan hoog in het huis geboord te worden zodat die luchtcirculatie op gang gebracht kan worden. Een electrabuisje buigen in 90 graden en in het geboorde gat klemmen. Aan de buitenkant naar onder laten wijzen. Geen directe tocht😀 Fantastisch huisje voor egels.😎🇳🇱

Thank you for this. My little girls and i are building one this weekend. We have a regular visitor to our garden this year so we want to keep our new friend happy and safe. For a woman, i've got more tools than most men would imagine a woman could have and i love building things myself.

Yes I have tried to come up with a plan etc and I often draft something out, primarily so that I know how much wood to buy but then I’ve found it never goes to plan, I either make a bad cut or change my mind part way through so the ‘wing it and it works’ method is definitely my preferred method 😂

Very nice indeed. Recently made one from a broken fence panel with exterior grade ply for the roof, all for £4.00 ! Please let us know if it's being used particularly for hibernation over the winter.

Thanks! I love using reclaimed wood where I can do nice work on the repurposing of the broken fence panel! I’ll check with my mum if it’s got a resident.
