Welcome back to Planet Crafter! As I rapidly run out of space in my main base location I thought it would be smart to move, but instead of moving my whole base I thought it would be fun to build a massive walkway to my new location. Drae missed a tree seed in the last chest behind the destroyable wall. Tree seeds can be used later and take a pretty long time to craft.

@@mrgroves1177 Regular seed he chucked on the floor during a past visit. Golden seeds are only in golden chests for the time being. Who knows what might change with the upcoming content patch though.

If you go past the alluminum area behind the big stone walls/bounderies, you can find a big crashed satialite in a big dessert biome, and it will have all kinds of rare resources in big amouts

My thought too. Beside the fact that this is the first seed of that kind he can get his hand on easily, he left the mushroom seeds there too. Those are not that easy to come by, but needed in the future.

You should deconstruct old machines and make new ones(eg, nuclear reactor), you'll have more power, and removing old ones will give more space for the better ones

Nuclear reactors especially will save you a ton to upgrade. The T1s use a lot of super alloy while the T2 uses more common materials on top of outputting more than 3x the power.

Something cool you should try. If you build a staircase near the rocket platform. when you launch a rocket, you're able to jump onto the top of the rocket. Which will allow you to fly to the sky. it's pretty fun and isn't game breaking.

There’s a destructible piece of ROCK near the first landing position, follow the wall that’s underneath the water and you’ll find a dead body along with some great loot!

disassemble your two T1 reactors, you've got one more uranium rod, giving you a total of 3, to build another T2 reactor

This game seems incredibly hard to remember anything with the instant upgrades and the mountain of ingredients, but you sure make it look simple so far, good job 👍

@@wify0241 I think I'm going to counter your point *I don't like besiege* It's a repetitive game like BeamNG drive and has no real conclusion for ending therefore no progress can be made. Graphically the game is beautiful but he's done a ton of episodes on it. I think Drae would tell you if he responded directly there are a ton of small KZfaqrs that would love your subscription that play besieged.

13:56 Actually you can stack ladders but it isn't by design. Ladders only go up; maybe that will change in the update. Also, using them can be tricky. You have to build them from the top down but you still need to go down. Which means you have to start at the bottom. Makes sense right? Starting at the bottom: Build a ladder to the side, *not* in the desired location. Go up and build another until you have reached the final compartment to have a ladder. Don't remove any of the ladders used to get to the top yet. Now build a ladder in the desired location and go down. Build a ladder in the desired location of each compartment until you reach the bottom. Simple... and tedious. Hope I got the explanation right.

Hey drae, if you want I'm 98% sure you get all resources back when you deconstruct so you could move some of the exterior stuff to be less crowded or make a huge room somewhere on your base for the grow tubes and another for storage. Just to make less cramped. Lots of love to my favorite KZfaqr:)

6:00 Seen so many creators build new devices while keeping the old. I have a suggestion. When I got to the T2 reactor stage I had the same problem as you, not enough uranium rods. Then I realized my T1 reactors each had one uranium rod. And when I dismantle them I will get them back. So I only needed two additional uranium rods not three. Next I did a little math and checked the power output of both reactors. Two T1 reactors plus one T2 reactor produces ~500 energy. But two T2 reactors produce 662 energy. Like your situation, I had at least two T1 reactors and only four URs. Now every time I want to build a T2 reactor, I first dismantle an old T1.

Looking at this I think Drae would have a lot of fun in current No Man's Sky. Building cool bases is a major part of it, and you can even build underwater/sculpt the terrain. The base I built underwater in NMS is still one of my favourite builds I did in games overall.

I really hope you keep on making more videos out of everything you're working on right now this is kind of the most interesting game that you're playing and even once you're done with all the terraforming you could just keep on playing by showing us the landscape because I bet you that there are other lakes and other places that we may not even know about because the map is so huge and you never did go back to that base and read all those messages from the person who used to live here and I'm kind of worried that that might be underwater if we don't focus on that soon

Hey Drae you should play a game called "Push Comes To Shovel" itl is a snowy sim-adventure set in the frigid town of Windrow. Become the Blizzard Wizard you've inspired to be and clean up the town. Upgrade and utilize a variety of plows, snowblowers, shovels and tools to complete chill jobs.

Drae there is an amazing Easter egg in the game. If you can get a compass installed to your suit then travel South East from your original crash sight. If you head towards the cliff side there will be a wall the you can deconstruct and you can find the body of the last explorer in there along with a chest that holds items depending on your progress in the game. I hope you can find it

If you go past the super alloy cave (not in the cave) there is also a big area to explore and past the mountain/maze there's a big Canyon. good luck

If you scrap the 2 tear 1 Reactors it will give you enough resources for the tear 2 and it will give you more energy

I have mining bases at each of the different locations. Full of lockers and with beacons, because you start getting more resources that you need. Oh and I’ve also just throw the excess into the big lake…so much silicon…

You can swim through the water and go underwater so the path is not blocked also another thing about water is that it does not stop fall damage but if you land in water it delays the damage until you touch land

There is a secret at the edge of the lake, under the water, along the rock face. Turn your tool to deconstruct, and you will find it. Behind it, is a well deserved reward, if you can find it.

That ship accros from your base if you climb up the cliff from the top of it that’s where you can get super alloy everywhere also there’s gold chests up there you use the cross beam bridges to get around

Run a path to your old base too! No reason not to, it's not like you can't make passages underwater. Also, why not stick your hub section as a floating room at the nexus of all the connections up top?

Edit: Not trying to spoil, you'll never find this while exploring and it adds to the storyline! In Planet Crafter, there's a very hard to find HUGE secret near the starting point. From the osmium cave that's between that big shipwreck and sulfur fields, if you're standing at the middle of the cave entrance looking towards the lake, it's almost directly southeast (a hair towards south-southeast). Head that direction, and against that cliff (right of the aluminum fields) you'll see an outcrop with rocks (rocks instead of just cliff). Towards the left side of the outcrop on the lake floor, there's a rectangular-ish rock that's potentially removable. No spoilers, it'll make for a phenomenal title!! Again, near impossible to find!

Interesting base build, I was wondering how building an elevator like that would turn out. I'm not sure the water is finished growing, however I think your base should be fine, mostly. Also you can't build power stuff in the water, they don't function it seems, so if you left anything down there you may want to recycle it. After water comes greenery, so it's going to be planting time. Terra forming coming into fruition.

The water keeps rising at different rates in different biomes too; that big lake is mostly done by the time you reach the lakes level, but other areas flood much later than that. (I had to scramble and relocate the majority of my power grid because the section of the dust falls iridium cave I had my reactors in that I thought was safe started to flood and would have knocked out most of my power supply! 😅)

I haven't played (Though I am tempted, it looks awesome), but is there any way to rotate the ladders such that your view after climbing is perfect to climb onto the next ladder, rather than needing to turn? It looks like your camera angle going in is the same coming out, so probably not, but that would make the climbing experience much easier.

I'd personally WOULD'VE suggested destroying all your solar panels for resources but considering just how much you made they might actually be contributing a decent amount to the power so you might wanna check first

And btw u gn get infinite if you die multiple times without collecting the stuff in the crates, you save and go to the home screen and log back on, and then you can decompose your chest for iron, then that means infinite wind tutbines
