It's not just Biden. UK is pushing for no ICE in 2035. But I see this going to backfire badly. The world (Especially the lower tier countries) is not ready for every household having Electric... neither the grids, nor the fire risk suppression, nor the cost of owning these cars long term with all the circuit tech that let's be real: cannot handle harsh environments in sun for example or places with a lot of sea spray... and the fact some people a car is a 15-20 year investment, it's going to be a real problem.

I have to see how it plays out. I highly doubt gas powered vehicles will disappear. If they do, it won’t be in our time

chances are though that wont do anything other than nuke all new car manufacturers because no ones buying ev's. Hes going to have to back down on it because demand is gone. Ev's are junk that have to be replaced every 2-3 years and no ones buying them second hand because repair costs are astronmical. Public charging is a nightmare and cities are having to limit power useage because the grid cant handle to strain. Just to give you perspective 4 charging stations consume as much power as a suburb of 5,000 people. Its like 250kw to charge 1 vheicle so 4 uses up to 1megawatt. And to get even worse electric semitrucks use power on the scale of NYC to just charge a handful of trucks. Basically the u.s going electric is an impossibility. For charging stations to function like gas stations they would have to be powered by a nuclear power plant just for the charging station. No to mention Ev cars blowing up and setting on fire from just being charged.

Ikeep seeing news stories talking about how the whole EV movement is starting to slow down due to the lack of infrastructure and other things that need to be worked out before tehy can really be a viable alternative to gas vehicles. I also hope they don't kill all the gas cars, i want to drive my z06 until i die..

@@brianvaller6589 yea tesla is laying off 30,000 employees due to lack of sales, ford is cutting production of their ev truck..Looks like the only people who wanted evs were californians and other various leftists. And thats it..And most of them in colder climates are regretting their choices. Also Ev batteries are costing up to 67k for a replacement battery..And most insurance companies are just totaling them out because they arent worth repairing.
