I built a Bafang 1500w mid drive in 2017, put it on a dual sport Cannondale that would go 45mph. It was awesome.

That bike is very expensive. It cost $4,645 USD to purchase a 1,920Wh model which is $2.42/Wh or $3,914 USD to purchase a 960Wh model which is $4.08/Wh.
