Good info. They way you handled the naysayers that might speak up about your home gym was well said. It does NOT look like a dump and does what you need it to and works well. On top of all of that you found ways to not get cheated out of a lot of money. You found a way to build the same equipment/tools for a fraction of the price that work just as well as the over priced stuff.

Thanks for the gym tour Cory 👍 And fully agree looks doesn't matter one bit. You can get a lot accomplished with dumbbells, a bench, bodyweight and cardio. And the cable-system and pull-up bar provide nice extra options. Only additional thing I don't think I'd be able to do without is a squat rack, a barbell and weights. Love deadlifting and squatting too much 😎💪 But hell if necessary I could manage with dumbbells, a bench and some elastic bands.

Another GREAT INFO VID!!! wow 1) the Dry Humor is Hilarious, especially the cute lil goats ( which wont be little for long..you will have to build them a club house and ramps to enjoy LOL 2) My hunting dog goes nuts ( because he hears all the wildlife in the background - Hilarious - he looks everywhere for it, LOL, walls , outside etc.. 3) you are so right about Gennys.. My friend up here ( sierra foothills ) buys Dead or cheap Generacs, Just for the parts when he installs for others - too bad you cant hire Locals to learn about those, and do the same LOL 4) HONDA really anything is the best.. and so much more widely available.. 5) Living up here I too, have to drive like 45 min. to a Lowes, and hour 15. min for a home depot, AND the Ace hardwares are all independent, so they wont call each other, LOL They hand me the Phone.. BUT SO MUCH to be said about the long Gorgeous Views and Making a FUN day about it.. Your attitude and NOW learning the new LAID back Humor is coming along my friend.. so different. At least in Mexico, and South America you can usually Get if you are willing to Pay extra, But there, It really doesnt matter LOL.. AND you are doing YOUR GYM RIGHT.. I will be looking for your advice and Downloadable PDF's for my future reference.. My best to you and yours.. Cory.. LOVE it..

Having a back up plan is absolutely necessary in the PH, based on my personal experience, Murphy’s law is a constant here, whether it’s just lack of inventory or the people have no clue……you really need to rely on yourself having things in place should any issue arise. Good choice on the pool tiles, my wife chose a light blue and it’s my biggest regret, as the dirt is really magnified on the tiles each time after use…..and we spend more time cleaning the tiles everyday.

Hello Cory! Great video! and great job on the pool! Also great attitude on dealing with the hic-ups! Kind request on my part. I'll be doing a pool too. Trying to figured out if I'll go with the pump tied in to my in-home oversize hybrid solar system or do I set it up as you are doing it. But I'm not clear on your 48V DC pump set-up. I understand it will be tied direct to panels as a stand alone system. Could you explain your filtration set-up while including the basic power supply connections. Looking for the basics. I will figure the balance out. What pump do I need to look for? Just ain't clear on this one... Sorry! Salamat Po!
@ItsMe_Philippines
@ItsMe_Philippines 2 жыл бұрын
Not a problem at all thank you for watching. I always had a pool in the states and it didn’t justify using solar because they would only be running a couple months out of the year. If your system is oversize it’s probably not needed. Your pump will more than likely be your highest voltage consumption however. At the time we had not purchased our solar system so I wasn’t 100% certain how much extra I would have to play with. It’s hard to say if I would still make that choice right now because I have so much extra electricity during the day. So in your situation, it would probably be cheaper just to go with a normal size unit because your solar is covering the electricity cost anyways. The cost of going to a DC pump is not that big. However, buying all the additional solar panels were more than likely double your price. If I knew I was going to have double the wattage that I need it I probably wouldn’t have gone as well. I did it to play safe. Will be going over there filtration system and how it’s all set up here as soon as it’s plugged in.
@patricke.987
@patricke.987 2 жыл бұрын
@@ItsMe_Philippines Ok I get it! I would of done the same and play safe. I am planning to get a 3/4 HP filter pump (pulls 750W). It covers my pool needs given I am planning a 4500 gallon pool. Also going to have 3 mini spits . Carrier Alpha like you. My whole project is similar to you. The funny point is that we are coming up with the same assessments... and I had this planned out before I found your channel. Most of what you are doing seems perfect to me. You were talking about cost of materials could you elaborate were the cost more from the city or the province areas
@ItsMe_Philippines
@ItsMe_Philippines 2 жыл бұрын
As far as material go, it’s always going to be cheaper in the city because they buy bulk supplies. Then the further you go away from there the smaller the hardware store and therefore the higher the price. It will be the opposite when it comes to fresh food however. Because they are grown out in the province and then they are shipped it to the stores in the city.
