Is that tight spot going to affect how well the slew ring turns? Or will it smooth out over time.

I would recommend not using opposing grub screws. Using two grub screws that are opposing on a gear means that really only those two grubs group points are taking the entire load of the power transfer. If you use just one grub screw then it pulls the other side of the gear tight against the shaft which makes that entire side a bearing surface for power transfer.

Why not drill a small hole in the shaft for the grub screws instead of a notch? I see the reasoning behind it, but it seems to me it would weaken the shaft, especially with grinding 2 slots in the same shaft near each other. I drill a small hole in my R/C motors for the grub screws, and they turn close to 80 thousand RPM's.

Love your builds, can you offer a bit of info for soldering for someone who does not know what they are doing really lol. We need a guide or a basic one if that's possible for your models lol? I assume all your build videos are complete and you are just uploading them now? Otherwise some video would be cool of the soldering (or seperate video of that if others are not interested)? In any case nice models, I've purchased a few from you, but idk soldering, so the models kinda just chilling until I get a better idea of how it goes lol. I'm a #Noob I know lol. The soldering part is easy, but how the connections go is where I get lost haha😁

@@ALOKO-TP true, but none on the specific models. Would be nice. Other videos don't help really when it's not the same model/ function/ setup. And a lot of people mod the designs from lasse with extra blades, etc so there's no idea of a base version for electronics layout lol 😅

thank you :) hmm, do you mean a basic tutorial on soldering in general? or how to connect all the electronics for each model? I have made diagrams of the electronics, theyre on cults3d :) We will see, explaining in english is hard you see
