Ran into the chainsaw blurred screen bug on this first episode. Decided to share the wealth and show what it looks like. Hope you folks like this series!

Definitely enjoy that tool on the skid steer. I got crazy clearing up bushes and tree stumps and ended up creating an entire field with that tool, specifically. 41:43

The ground on this map definitely needs a lot of TLC! Quite a challenge!

The struggle is real... Played this map a while back and encountered a few problems. Floating trees was one. You could cut them but without Lumberjack you could not remove the stumps. Courseplay is not possible. Not even on "draw custom field". Birch trees are called spruce... But the landscape is gorgeous. And being in the Alaskan wilds without a Chainsaw is like entering the Desert without water. Looking forward to all the struggles and hiccups... Happy Days mate!

We'll adjust as needed for glitches and bugs. I'm not planning to use courseplay on this series. But if there are issues with trees, I'll add lumberjack back in. Chainsaws are already back, lol.

Don't forget the best length to get the best $$ is 8 or 9 meters. Hope you make some great progress on the series.

The Giants karma. Krustoo: - "Let's play a forestry map without using chainsaw." Giants engine: - "Ok, Let's see it..." Krustoo: - "Oh, no! I need some tool to cut this down." Ginats engine: -" Hehehe...I see ..." Krustoo: -" this axe mod should work..." Giants engine: - " nop. you said without cutting hand tools....Crash." Krustoo: -" oh, boy!!!" I think that I need the chain saw..." Giants engine:" I know, and will not be easy, now! Fell the pressure of Giants virtual karma". Krustoo:- " what a start!!!" for a new series. LooL!!!

I really like the tone of this map and the possibilities it presents. Unfortunately, this series doesn't last long due to some issues I had with ground collisions. I hope it was just some mods I have that are conflicting and the map is good. Might revive the series later after a patch or two have taken place!

It has a really nice feel to it. Wooded, but sparse openings, with small trees and standing dead. Meadow texture is amazing. Buildings are well designed. Feels very much like a remote northern town.

Perhaps due to having to use a chainsaw, restrict only by using the smallest trailer & no logs, just chipping as a twist challenge!

This land is confusing. Not quite enough big trees to justify buying a tree harvester. Lots of shrub and tall grass and a several small trees. Maybe we need a tractor-mounted tree harvester.
