man, I have been curious how people set up optical experiments reliably for ages. I am prospecting a project involving a UV lamp, so I know I can't just fiddle with everything on the fly. This makes a lot of sense for how everything is aligned in advance.... much safer. Next I figure out how to get an intensity reading for each frequency put out by the lamp. I am having trouble with detectors as the one's I've been supplied with have no datasheet and the control logic is.... ancient and unreliable. Thank you!
