Just made, folded, and loaded 45 5# substrate blocks in under 1 hour (1 person) all within 1/2 oz. of target weight for both water & substrste!!!!

@7CMACK might want to specify in the description because it is tough to makout which one you have by the pictures on amazon, the one that appears to be the correct one you're saying is labeled FV-N320 in the choices. Is the FV-N320 the correct one?

I think it's cool how you made the water separate because that could isolate a lot of issues that someone could have. I was thinking two pounds might be kind of small but I guess you could always just step on that pedal twice 👍

This was really well presented. Thanks for the list. It's obviously useful for what its for. Time and value come from effecient set ups, I really like this. I have been looking for a automatic tap for a while for a measured amount of water, is that plumbed in or done from a tank? No-one can mind the kick back, if it dosent jam it's a huge timesaver.

It's runs off a garden hose, just screw it in, and it's never jammed on me 2+ years. Missed this comment. Apologies for the late response

Would you recommend having two hoppers for better control and 50/50 dispensing? Maybe it’s me but my soy haul connection is very small pellets and a lot of powder per bag. Pre-mixing seems inconsistent

I've never had an issue & aim for about 65% HWFP 35% SOY, soy is too expensive for 50/50,

I fill the hopper up with buckets, alternating 1 bucked HWFP, 1 bucket Soy Hull Pellets, I've never had an issue.

I live in the uk and have wanted a automatic water dispenser to give a set amount of water. I have never seen one for sale here, can somene please post link to the american product that cearly we do not have here. I want to type, 500 ml , 1L , 100 Litres of water and then be confident that I can fill a water butt or fill a musroom bag and know it will turn off. There's lots of uses big and small if you have fish or collect rainwater.

will this work with grains or soil/manure based substrates?

You could set it for grain I'm sure, depending on what type, it would have to be dry though. You could use it for soil/manure but it would be best in pellets.

I'm a new mushroom farmer, here in Northern California. I've got a question...with this setup you have 1 hopper. How do I set up 2 hoppers: 1 for oak pellets and 1 for soy pellets? I'm confused as to how you got both pellets into your substrate bag with 1 hopper. Help.

We just pour 1 40# bags of soy hull and 1 40# bag of wood pellets, then just mix it up in the hopper. Never had an issue. You can also fill the hopper one bucket at a time 1 bucket wood pellets 1 bucket soy pellets and that mixes it up pretty good as well. For most mushrooms, especially Oysters, the mix doest have to be exactly 50/50.

@Mike Hunt well, they both "weigh" the same. Wasn't looking for a smart ass answer, just a resolution... like how to hook up 2 chambers, etc. But since you replied with a smart ass answer, I'd like to point out that you can't spell.

@loraslade as implied on purpose of mispelling.. This was the math question that boggled you(50% soy hulls and 50% saw dust mixed) in a bagger machine. maybe you read it as a grammar question and not a math question. Sheesh
