this is honestly one of most interesting videos i've seen from you or anyone else in Raid. to see what you would choose, and listen to your reasoning when looking through the pulls, and then seeing the ones you pick in action, being able to see firsthand how they fulfill the roles you picked them for. and most importantly, at an accessible level for most players. a lot of the time you see videos from Raid and it's just "these are the top 20 nukers" or "best epics in the game" and stuff like that, and you miss out on a lot of champions that could fill roles in an early game team to help you progress. personally, after 3 months of play, i am not yet at the point where i can really build epics and legendaries well yet, simply because of a lack of books. i missed out on helicath, and i don't have anything to sub him in for in terms of unkillable team, so i'm still stuck on brutal clan boss, and so rare skill tomes and ancient shards is where it's at for me when it comes to finding roles that my teams lack for progression in the different dungeons. when i see "top 20 epics" or something like that, at best i will have 1 or 2 of the champions showcased, and a lot of the time i won't have them built and i might be 10 epic tomes or so away from booking them out, which takes a long time at my level and trying to be F2P

These videos are awesome. Definitely would like to see more. You get the little rush from some shard pulls while also getting some gameplay content. Helps get the creative juices flowing.

this is an authentic mid game team. this is it, shout out to alan. this is the kind of content you can take on a run ash. it's interesting and somewhat exciting to watch and replicates a midgame experience when you just have some random champs thats you've spent resources on! run with it, this is content. I would just preface the video with the fact that you have a fully maxed great hall, which most midgame players can only dream of haha

This is a great series. A draft team is actually super helpful to see, because as you said, a lot of newer players need help putting together a viable comp with the random champs they've pulled on their own account. Seeing how an experienced player prioritizes certain debuffs, heals, etc. on random champs is very helpful. Even some older players just might not be familiar with every single rare and epic, so seeing them used in a novel team comp can bring out some interesting ideas. Very much looking forward to seeing more of this series :D

These videos are totally worth making. One of the reasons the chosen affinity tournament videos early on were such a hit.

Ash, I've been watching you since I started playing in March of 2021. This series has been my favorite that you've ever done on your channel. So fun seeing underplayed champs getting played. Like you said, Ash, this way of doing it was much better than in the first video. If this becomes a long running series though, maybe you should limit it to champions you haven't used before in the series, so we get to see new champions shine every time. Would also like to see the champs against every dungeon boss since each has different mechanics.

Ash, I LOVED this. Valla and Hope are two of my favorite unsung heroes. This was also a HUGE improvement on the first version of this series 👍👍

Ash's optimism vs Doom Tower Hard Griffin was fun to watch get crushed :) In all seriousness, fun vid. Don't worry too much if it's not amazing every where. Still pretty good idea for a series.

Candleguard is actually nice. AOE weaken then partnered with Marquess, but they're more like for Arena I think. This series is great since it's more helpful for us F2P players who may have those random champs.

This would make an EXCELLENT event in one of those Content Creator contests!

I love these videos. Of all the things to dislike, this is what I love most about Raid. TEAM BUILDING. Being forced to pick from select champs and trying to find synergies and make a strat with them. So fun!

Should be an every week series. All of us FTP players love seeing these random champions used and upgraded to Max. Most of us reading have used these champs but not totally maxed out and it's nice seeing them given some love

It's clear that Galek is the least versitile of the starters, however, you do not need to build any accuracy with him which leaves room for some big damage, mostly in pvp.

Definitely keep this content up!!! It makes you build Champs who you normally may not showcase or use!

Is there any champion outside of legendary ones that you think a whole team of just the same champion (example: 5 Volgoths) could beat every piece of content in the game?

I'd love to see deadwood organise the next cc battle around this mechanic. 4 sacred 6 voids and 10 ancients and then pick 10 out of the 20 champs to make teams 0.0

I like this kind of video. I'm all about challenges and challenge runs. Like trying to do every dungeon with only 1 faction, for example. This definitely isn't the team I would have used for these lol, but I do think you'd have had better results making more use of the poison set; almost seems like it was made for unorthodox teams. I am curious how many people are interested in Arena teams, because I speculate that it's not many. Even though I do all the 25 dungeons, I believe myself and most others are more interested in the PvE content. I usually tune out when you migrate to the Arena; largely because the opposing teams are random.

I think the only other thing I would do to add even more flexibility to your builds is allow yourself to use any one (only 1) of the starters, as well as High Khatun, Shaman, and Jizoh. That way you've got a team that most anyone could realistically get, and then I'd only do 1 10-pull of ancient shards, as well as 1 void shard and 1 sacred. This would allow people to see how building a team well in the early game can carry you a long ways. I mean, it's not hard at all to 3-star normal and hard campaign within the first day or two, and definitely within the first 30 days (when you'd get High Khatun). At which point I think it would interesting to see how far you could push that team not only in dungeons, but in arenas and doom tower normal.

This feels like Ash is training for DWJ's CC's challenge and I love it. 💪

Love these videos! My account is beyond building most of these champs due to having better choices available for most roles but as the bottleneck of talent starts to narrow I do find myself missing the days when any decrease defence champ or nuker was an exciting pull. Great content, great concept. Maybe next time to mix it up do a void 10 pull or even just 5 pull just to add some of that purple affinity spice?

Thoughts about a video where you use viewer-suggested teams? Would be interesting to see amazing gear on our champs to see how far they’ll go. Would be nice to get feedback on our teams, maybe find some sleeper combos as well. For example, I use brogni and aniri in almost everything together.

This is the content many of us midgame people need. I like the 'Icegolem is super easy! (if you have this extremely hard to get Lego)' videos, they are fun to watch, but they are not really helpful and sometimes mislead people into making really bad account decisions. Suggest building a pinch hitter choice from the total pulls. 👍 If you recall at launch it was Executioner that ruled the entire meta. He was a legendary in a blue frame. He got a substantial nerf. But the game was even more of a slow grind!

hi ash . 1st of all thanks for the awesome videos and the attention to details for each champion . learning about your channel changed the way i look and do in the game . 2nd i would like to see a video and a team made from free champions and there synergy in different areas of the game for new 100% F2P gamers. for example a team of yannica , elhain . scyl of drakes , dark elhain and apothecary . i use this for clearing all floors of DT normal ,sometimes i use reliquary tender or cold heart but i got all in shard pull or daily login . and none of theme has power over 45k . 3rd why dont you have video about warpriest or yannica ... the 1st healer in the game is warpriest and many have to use it until they get someone better wiche in my case took nearly 4 months . anyway . thanks again for the time you put in every video . tbh i prefer your video and suggestions more than other content makers of RSL

easy pick for me would have been Galek, you didn't have a damage dealer and he's super soild in any content. I actually just used him to clear dragon 25, people definitly sleep on Galek, but all 4 starter champs are very well rounded damage dealers usable in almost any content.

Even though we "get the gist" I do think that this is a really cool idea. Early game players kinda have to make it work just like this so it's cool to see the struggle represented instead of Siphi Rotos Hege and Nekrit all the time
