Oh please tell me this is a joke. So the dude overpaid for some lumber and thought having an extra tier would be the only way to allow you to grow different vegetables? I'm guessing he grew up in the city his entire life.

Yikes that’s a huge ripoff.. just looked at the price per board foot. This site you bought the cedar from is charging over $18/BF plus shipping, Lowe’s is about $5/BF. You can find it even cheaper from your local hardwood supplier and also support local businesses, they also sell soft woods like pine, cedar and fir. Business like Gardeners Supply will absolutely gouge people with products that are outside their wheelhouse or area of expertise.

What would be the purpose of this? Seems like your getting the same amount of growing space as if you only had one level but now you need more soil to fill it

Sorry … This seems like a waste of space and money, when you could raise more in the 2 separate beds. Ok … it looks cool, I can’t say that out-ways the benefits Just my opinion!!! 🍃☀️🍃☀️🍃

or you can put the plants together in one bed or separate in different beds. this doesn’t really save space when you could just make to smaller separate beds. but it does look cool i’ll give it that

I get it that some people arent that handy with tools but dang. Home depot will cut your lumber free if you dont have or cant use a saw.

I believe you should cover with plastic the wood so it doesn't rotted. That is how I do it.

Great idea. But do not get these from gardening companies so expensive. If you’re gunna overpay and waste your cash go to your local nursery and buy it from them
