It seriously seems like this is the pack that the sims team have been working on behind the scenes for ages, it finally feels like a finished pack, not rushed, not halfarsed. I really am starting to believe sims team were being forced to push out content by EA when it comes to the other packs. Might actually give EA any money for this one.

Jack Gerald On the second part about EA forcing them, that's definitely true. EA is known to rush things, even if they know it needs more time. It's honestly really stupid cause it shows they don't care about quality, but the teams of people working on the games usually do care they're just rushed by EA. It's sad.

I really do agree, cause University has been asked for since like, day one. Because of the fact that EVERYONE loved the Sims 3 University. Also the other packs where kinda rushed, at least compared to others things they have put out. But this by far, is amazing! And they put so much detail into it, detail and accuracy on how it actually works, that's what EA should be going after, not the speed at which it comes out, that's lowers the quality. But of course, anything from the Sims is great! 😅

It's interesting hearing everyone's college dorm layouts in different countries. My first three years, I had two rooms, a shared bathroom and a mini fridge/microwave. Now I'm in a dorm with four bedrooms, a kitchen, a lounge room and two bathrooms. It's weird seeing the Foxbury dorm and how big it is in comparison to what I'm used to in university.

The fact that there was only 5 girls. My dorm floor had 21 girls. Almost every shared a room!

We had about 21 in our floor and wing. There were 3 wings and 3 floors. Every room didn't have 2 and some had three so I'm thinking between 190 and 200 people in my dorm.

As an RA of a tiny college on my hall I always had between 32-35 girls. No I'm a senior who no longer lives that RA life and there are only 7 girls on my hall. Not even half the rooms have residents and everyone is a single (accept the triple that has some sports girls in it). Meanwhile my old hall has about 25 still. Same building.

There were 106 girls on my floor. Less if some paid for a private room but my second term that wasn't allowed because they needed the rooms.

Rachel Patterson we had over 40 girls on my floor and i was living in a double converted to a triple aka just putting an extra set of furniture into an already tiny room

In your LP, maybe you could have a sim who is the granddaughter of one of the founders of the universities. And every teacher likes her cause if they don’t she can like fire them or something. And her last name is obviously Britchester or Foxbury. Hope you like this

I went to a large university in Alabama and the older dorms had single beds that had the ability to become bunk beds. You just had to request it. Most new dorms are apartment style with a full kitchen and individual rooms.

The stickers are an emergency exit if you look close. Which is actually really really cool and detailed. But I feel like in a dorm all the doors should definitely be the same, it makes more sense to me. Ughhhh I NEED this pack ASAP!!!

Looks nice :) I like the colors! I always say table tennis or ping pong. In Finland we say 'pöytätennis', which is table tennis :) I lived at campus dorm for four years. In first and 2nd year my dorm had 31 students upstairs with tiny space for kitchen and nice living room, downstairs were teachers offices. Third year I lived near boys dorm, which was just other side of the door of corridor, fourth year I was living with 9 other girls. All dorms had stove and oven, all that stuff. And most of the rooms in all dorms were for 2 or 3 people, few were for one people. That was just at the campus I were, not sure how it is in other campuses.

I like how she designated a bed for a pansexual 😂 I use those Pride flags a lot and then after wonder if it was weird to upload a house with a designated gender or sexuality for a particular room.

Savannah Carlon I upload for the sake of my own game play& being able to get them back in the future if I wanna play them- so I don’t worry about it. But to be fair, they can always go and delete it/change the colors. I’ve never downloaded someone else’s build and not changed/added ANYTHING.

This pack would be really cool paired with laundry day so like they had one washer and dryer between them, I think it goes with the theme of being independent for the first time but also having to be responsible for yourself and realising your parents can’t always do your washing for you

My freshman year dorm had 23 girls living on one floor! We all shared a room besides the girls that opted to have single rooms. All of our rooms had one mini fridge and one microwave, and the bathroom consisted of five or five stalls and 6 showers. Oh and of course a communal area with a tv! I like that the sims team made the stoves forbidden for dorms! It definitely feels much more realistic to me!!

If you wanted to make a dorm off the grid (you know, for funsies), a workaround could be to make the same lot a residential and put out ads for roommates. It 'll be an "Environmental Research" dorm

The door stickers are supposed to go on the outside. It's like a little announcement board that says who lives in that dorm, your roommates or the resident adviser can leave you messages and then some people like to personalize it for holidays or their own style. And the peephole on the inside so you can see who's at your dorm room if you don't want to be bothered.

geniusalad it makes sense. Uni is only a small part of the entire gameplay. Making traits for sims based around Uni is unrealistic bc you can’t change them once they’re selected unless you use cheats.

in france we don't even have actual dorms, you could rent a room and have your own bathroom in it and you'd share the kitchen but that's the most "shared" buildings you could find, that's probably cause it's less expensive to go to (public) college

In the UK, all university accommodation has a full kitchen, but it’s the normal thing to share one with like 14 people! And share like two showers 😂

You could probably use the doors for a “funky” and “trendy” style dorm. I’ve been to quite a few hostels travelling that have different coloured doors and other bright and fun aspects.

I love the design! Can you please make a student hangout which is like a uni pub in the Britechester university as I feel like it would fit in with it's aesthetic. I am a uni student in England and the pub is one of the best places to hang out with your friends after classes, also I would take inspiration from university pubs in Oxford (UK) or the one you see in Gilmore girls when Rory goes to Yales.

Our kitchenettes (and I live in the usa) have stoves in them... but it took so many regulation checks from the fire department lol. ugh i love this pack so much can't wait to get it

i actually want to recreate the dorm like rooms we had at our clinic. a lot of these furnitures look extremely alike to those which were in our rooms, especially all of these awful yellowy wood ones lol
