Today I continue to build a wood stove from stone, cement and clay. To save costs, I will not buy brick but use natural stone. It is difficult to build a beautiful stove from stone because the shape of each stone is different. I tried my best to perfect it but I found it not beautiful. I feel so clumsy. What do you guys think about my new wood stove?

From the very beginning I have a suggestion . You loaded that carrying Basket with stones and then saw you struggle getting up. You are to young to carry loads that heavy for which you may pay later in life. Since I care for you, please don't do that in the future . I see you are making dinner , do I get an invitation ? 🙂 PS good job on the stove

Yes, I actually had some swelling in my shoulder from that strap, which also took a few days to heal. But I'm alone so I need to try to create a life for myself, there is no one to help

I understand what you are saying to be a valid point, we all go through times like that. The reason I mentioned it because when we are young we live forever and don't always take care of ourselves. I find you are a very intelligent young Lady and will find the proper way to solve this, I know I did when I was in a similar situation

If I had to build a wood stove such as this I might have not made it directly attached to the bamboo wall but instead left space around the entire stove where I could then construct cement shelves attached on either side to hold all the pots, pans, lids etc so they wouldn’t be just sitting in the dirt and ashes of the floor.

Thank you for your comment. I actually had both shoulders swollen from the strap when I brought the stone home. And it takes 2 to 3 days for the wound to heal and no longer hurt
