This video shows my quick progress on building a wood fence over a wire fence using this special rail tie brackets that tie the rail to the metal pipe post. This leading to not needing the 4x4 post and results to a beautiful solidly firm wood fence. Undisputable wood fence over wire fence which provides excellent privacy 👌. It's easier to stain the wood before you install it on the fence. To make the chain link side look better, paint the posts and wire close to the color of the wood. A roller does a good enough job on the wires.

I really like the look. I plan on having another dark board along the bottom. A wood list used would be helpful so your not speculating. Great job

Looks good any way we could see the other side. I’m thinking of doing this around my back yard but I want the curb Appel so I’d be looking at the ugly side from inside the yard

Paint the posts and wire the same color as the wood. Do a 2-sided wood fence Put the stringers onto both sides of the chain link fence, put boards on both sides.

Looks nice. I like that the wood doesn’t go all the way to the ground. Having it up a few inches protects the wood from damage by weed wackers and water.

Can you tell me the size of lumber you used ? The one you painted are untreated wood ?

Yes untreated wood was 2x4, pickets were 6ft tall, 5 5/8 inches width

Aren't you suppose to install fence such that your neighbor gets the good side?

Its your fence you can install however you want unless there are separate rules that control that in your area.
