I really like life on the farm, I live here and enjoy the most peaceful things from nature, how about you? I'm glad you're here, I hope you enjoy the video

I'm "Liều", 24 years old. I was born into a family in a rural, remote area. From a young age, I followed my father to work as hired laborers in many places, doing many different jobs, but my family life did not change. Every time I return to my hometown, I find everything so peaceful and romantic, seeing that the simple life inspires me with will and determination, I decided to leave the noisy life in the city and return to the countryside to settle down.
I built a farm in the mountains, Started everything with empty hands, inexperienced but I will try to learn
It's been 1 year, so far I have grown some vegetables and trees.
I raise a lot of chickens, ducks and will raise more wild boar, in the near future I will expand the farm on a larger scale. I will try to turn what I can raise and grow into a commercial product, helping my family and my parents economically!

OK, several things crossed my mind right away... First, the local government will allow a wooden home but not the brick and mortar home??? I hope they don't change their minds. 🙏 Second, what a remarkable young lady you are!! Look at all who came to help several days in a row. Lastly, I am soooo thankful for no injuries!! When you fell, I held my breath and immediately thanked God for your safety and that of your team. I'm so proud of Mr. Phay for how he gets in and helps. Many blessings and love!! 😊❤

I am guessing that perhaps wood is not considered "permanent" structure so it is allowed? And/or the joints instead of the nails? Although I like the joints much better than the nails.

I am amazed how skilled these workers are. Cutting and making joints with only experience and skills can create. It is hard to image how they cut joints and fitting without looking at plans and making everything fit. I am relieved no one got hurt moving the lumber down the mountain, what an accomplishment. All these workers have my respect and admiration. Thank you Lieu for your generous heart and hard work. Good health to all.

Lieu, it’s great to see that you can still build a wooden house on the land you purchased, I guess it was a house made out of bricks that you weren’t allowed to build so the wood house is not classed a a permanent structure so didn’t need planning permission, you and your friend did an awesome job of transporting the timbers down the mountain and to the site, that was a lot of very hard work indeed, as always stay strong and stay safe you amazing young lady 💕

It appears that with all your work making the frame it went together very quickly with little trouble. I am amazed that the council made you tear down the brick house yet allows you to build a wood framed one in it's place. Mr. Phay should be very happy with what you and your friends are building for him. Much work is going into this new house you are building. I suppose the wooden house is not classed as a permanent structure unlike the brick building, it’s like that in the UK, you can build a wooden garage on your property without planning permission but not a brick one

I can’t imagine how they moved all the heavy woods down the impossible slope. Thank God nobody was injured. The incline is so steep and rocky and wet. And you’re a very good organiser. Bless you all. Are you all thinking what I am thinking? The local council forced her to destroyed the brick building and now allow her to build a wooden structure. I think I am going crazy.

It’s interesting because you have to submit drawings and designs, before you build. Why would they allow you to build a wooden house and not a brick one- on the same exact lot? Was this done for clicks and views?

They would not have worked so extremely hard just for clicks. Here in aAustralia some councils allow granny flats that can be easily moved to be erected without all the same rules as a permanent one such as brick, maybe that is similar over there.

Hello Lieu, good afternoon. Now I know why I never saw a comment about you not getting your money back for the land. Congrats to you and your friends that helped bring the lumber down your steep mountain. I think I’m going to like this house better. With all that help the framing of the house was quick. Question???? Is there not another way down to the main road from your farm? I would suggest after you’re finished with Mr Phay’s house you consider making a better pathway down the mountain. Very happy that you are building Mr Phay a new home , but I have one question, what is the difference in building a wood frame house and a Brick and concrete house? Will the local Government support this , I truly hope so for you and Mr Phay , because you have worked extremely hard, getting this new house together, from cutting trees ,chiseling and milling the trees ,and the extremely hard job of transporting the frame down the mountain. It's really a big house and he will enjoy living there, Lieu. But i'll never understand bureaucracy - a wooden house is allowed and a brick built is forbidden. It's too much for me. When you didn't mention about giving back the land, I knew you would build the wooden house at the same spot. My guess supported by the foundation you did not demolished and logs you left at the side of the main road. That’s the same property, I guess the government didn’t approve building with Bricks but approved with lumbers. Glad she can still continue to build and the neighbors contribute their energies and times..God Bless them all with generosities

Hello Lieu! I have to say…I’m a bit confused?🧐 I thought this piece of property was NOT meant to build on? That the land owner made mistakes clearing this land? If it’s okay to build on, I’m cert you now have a building permit? I would hate to see you have to take THIS structure down too. Also…you are one tough cookie as they would say here! So the land has been re-zoned and permits were issued? I love this house, so much nicer than the cement over brick. Wood framed with complex joinery is so much sturdier - and interesting! Lucky Mr. Phay!! It’s nice that the house is larger but seeing the frame rest on those piles of bricks makes me very nervous even though it’s temporary. Then again, I live in earthquake territory.
