I'm so glad yall did this segment. This gave my the exact inspiration I needed to start building my B8.5 more. Was on the verge of trading it in after having to replace the transmission. But I fell back in love with it thanks to the donor and videos like this.

Nice build, i always thought VAG cars underquoted the bhp on their Cars, this Audi stock gives 313bhp at wheels whereas Audi claim 333bhp at Crank pretty astonishing.

Did you not have to do anything with the clutch system? Does the stock dual clutch not slip with the added power?

No it’s a very strong trans tbh it could handle probs up to 600 wheel no problem

Can we get a video on the ECS TUNING b8.5 install for the new ecs tuning heat exchanger? Mine just came in today with the ecs tuning single pulley! I’m excited! Also another question.. are you guys working on any other ecs provided affordable products for the s4’s?

Great idea! We will put a DIY video in the queue for the heat exchanger. Hope the install of the pulley goes well! We have a large amount of ECS designed products that are affordable for the B8S4 and we are always designing more. Are you looking for something specific?

@@ecstuning gonna do it next weekend 👍🏻 put the heat exchanger on yesterday. Bled the system. Everything is solid and you guys did an amazing job can’t wait to see the results in Mexico. Well for example CSF is making their own radiator. Maybe you guys can provide your own for even more cooling! Or maybe an expansion tank for the heat exchanger, or even your own throttle body compatible with the Luft Technik intake . you guys have good products just excited for what’s next.

@@ecstuning or another idea I was thinking was maybe there’s a way to not only keep the coolant colder (HX) but maybe you guys can manufacture a direct bolt on oil cooler to keep your engine even colder. Not sure if this sounds dumb but just thinking out loud

Makes me wish I didn't trade my B8.5 S5 for the B9. Miss the supercharger and manual. I don't know if trading the stick shift for virtual cockpit was worth it. They should have made the B9 with a stick option

Does the B9 have the same transmission? My 8.5 had a mechatronic issue and I've stayed away since lol went with the zf8 transmission in the c7.5 and drive with confidence.

The S4 is quite a bit of a performance upgrade from the A4. Engine, Suspension and Transmission being the main differences.

probably because most of these parts are more so to help with the power but yeah...rs3’s are much more expensive it’s almost depressing

420whp is pretty easy, but it's not cheap. E40 ported blower, TB, 3.2+ PR, tune. But of course you need supporting mods, HX, HPFP but that's really about it.

When they used the impact wrench to tighten the bolt on the top hat of the coil over made me cringe. You can see the shaft spinning, basically destroying the shock 🤦🏻♂️

Yep, all of that. Brakes add 50hp, stickers = 87 hp, wheels are 1000hp. Pulley and tune with a cat back only which are consider very very simple basic power mods adds like minus 300hp. All of that
