I just hope the oil money can help to improve the life of the coastal residents. A pathway with benches and palm trees right down to the fish market. Just to enhance the visual of visitors and residents. The beauty and potential is there. With the colorful fishing vessels bobbing along the coast. The Mp's for whatever govt somebody needs a vision to first improve the life of the fishing folks . You all contribute to Jamaica in your own unique way.

Safety means nothing there

There use to be an event held down there every August, I believe, independence day. I think it was boat race. I think also it was called Old Harbour Bay Regatta. Why did they stop keeping it? Shouldn't the community try to revive it. I m, an it brought an influx of people to old harbour bay on that day and that a lot of money made in 1 day for any 1 person. You all should really revive it, and make it even better than it was. Add new events to the day, new showcases and new things specific to the palate of the young generation who had no idea that Old Harbour Bay was the place to be every Independence day. Bay used to be the place for the topper top men to come and drink and eat roast fish after work especially on Fridays. I think that tradition has died. But hope is alive, I think you and your community should try to make Old Harbour Bay popping again.
