Building Basement Hockey Rink for my nephew

My Brother-In-Law wanted to take an unfinished room in his basement and build a space where my 10 year old nephew could practice hockey. So we built this room for him so he can work on his shooting, stick handling, passing and one-timers. Enjoy!

This looks great. I have been looking at synthetic ice for a basement project of my own. Can you comment on what you decided to use for this project and why? Thanks!

So these are Dryland Flooring Tiles, not synthetic ice. You can't ice skate on these tiles. We went with them because they were significantly cheaper then synthetic ice, and you can still stick handle ice hockey pucks on them. www.hockeyshot.com/HockeyShot-Dryland-Training-Flooring-Tiles-p/flooring-001.htm

That happened to me. Ice time is too expensive in Vegas. So I self taught myself how to rollerblade and joined a roller hockey league. I the league itself is.. kind of a dump. There are six teams and 2 practices a week with 1 game a week. But it’s still hockey🤗
