Big shoutout to @crickett.hq for all the help fabricating these custom knuckles for the Century! Now that these are done, I've been able to get the car to sit level when it's aired out, with matching camber and 1.25" lower than before! Sorry for being gone for so long, going to be getting back into the groove of uploads more regularly soon, and excited to give you guys a house tour once everything is official!

Shortening a knuckle in a double a arm suspension setup will drastically change the characteristics of it as the body rolls. Having a shorter distance between the outer mounting points (shorter knuckle) than the inner mounting points of the a arms (where they mount to the frame) will add positive camber when rolling, which reduces tire contact with the road surface.

My life would be complete if you slammed a first gen rav4. Literally the essence if the 90s, an experimental Frankenstein crossover between a Corolla and a Celica. There us very few aftermarket parts for it but i have been able to make a shortlist of items that are still available, i also found coils and air suspension kits. Something about slamming the worlds first SUV crossover, wagon mafia style, rings home.

You didn't need to slow cool them?? I'd have tossed those in a 5 gallon bucket and covered them with sand or at least wrapped them up real thick with leather gloves to slow down the cooling process and ensure strength.

Why not use Serialnine upper control arms? They are lower then the stock ones, and you have camber adjustment on them. I think the GS300 has the same arm as the Century.

Because the place on the knuckle where the shortening was done is closer to the pivot point of the a arms, removing let's say 1 inch will lower the car more than 1 inch (given it doesn't bind or hit anything else). You can calculate this by multiplying the length of the removed section by the ratio of how far out that section is vs. the distance from the a arm mounting point to the wheel; basically the same as the suspension's motion ratio, but for the removed section of the knuckle instead of spring/shock mounting point.

A more familiar comparison might be coilovers: If you want to lower your car an additional 1 inch, you don't wind the spring perch down 1 full inch as that would result in a much bigger drop.
