Don't throw out the shelf you built incorrectly! You can paint the brown edges with any color or colors

My boyfriend and I built the same bookshelf and we thought we were doing great following the instructions but we got the wooden dowel things stuck in the wrong holes and had to wait until the next day to get pliers and fix the whole thing! You're not alone LOL

You should get a cute rug to go under/front of your chair. You can have a pin board or something similar that you can update periodically on the background wall.

The bookshelf directly behind your chair looks a little dark on camera. Maybe adding some lights behind it to illuminate it a bit? It’s so cute tho! I loved the old setup too!

I built mine backwards too, I just unscrewed everything and flipped it. Don’t throw it away just undo it and rebuild

my friend and i put together a couch/futon and once we sat down it flipped us out of it! definitely put the frame on backwards lol! hate putting together furniture but it's funny in retrospect.

there is some "tape" (which is not tape, I don t know the word in english. And in Italian, let s be honest) you can use to cover the end of wood pieces to make them the color of the furniture you are building. with that you can use that bookshelf and nobody will know it s upside down Also, @11:28 I love how the cat made room for himself on the shelf LOL

You van put that bookshelf in a closet or somewhere it won't be seen much to hold stuff or sell for cheap/give away on fb marketplace or in your street. Why would you throw perfectly usable furniture away?
