Building FOUR NEW Turtle Ponds For My Pet Snapping Turtles! DIY

In this video, I document the journey of building four new ponds with waterfalls for my pet turtles! It's not an easy task! Watch as I build new turtle ponds for "Happy" my Alligator Snapping Turtle, "Snappy Pants" my Common Snapping Turtle, "Noodle" my Pink-bellied Side-necked Turtle, and "Seamore" my Red-eared Slider. This DIY turtle pond project is something YOU can do at home for your pet turtles! Watch my empty field transform into a new turtle paradise! The turtle ponds come complete with cascading waterfalls, goldfish, and large basking areas for the turtles. Make sure to watch the entire video because Snappy Pants our snapping turtle does something that completely surprises us and changes the direction of how we build turtle ponds moving forward! Wow! It’s amazing watching just how much you take joy in creating the perfect environment for your animals. I commend you on your dedication and commitment towards making sure that they don’t feel the lack of anything despite being in captivity, which they are in for their own survival. Do you know how Snappy Pants escaped his enclosure? Did you find any clues as to how he made his escape? Can he dig to get under your fencing that you built so painstakingly? It seems impossible that he could climb over the fencing to get out from the top, but I’m thinking that is what you believe happened since you remedied that situation immediately. 😊

I think Snappy Pants love u so much mate. He want to be closer to u. That so nice and even he a bit cranky but it shows how clingly him to u. I also have a red ear slider for about... 20-22 years and he still with me. His name is lilo. And he sometime like to run away too and sleep outside of my bedroom door. Walking from his pond outside enter the doggy door and stay until morning outside my bedroom leaving a trail of water mark along the way. But how can we get mad with him. Appreciate all the vid and all the hardwork mate. All the job sweat and blood u do for all the animal is so incredible.

Would be nice if in the long run you have an aquascape pond made for your water creatures like Kamp Kenan, it would also reduce your efforts in cleaning as well.

I was wondering about this. The "cages" seem awfully small..especially for the big turtles! Don't they usually roam around in grass, rock, sand, and water? I'm not trying to criticize or take anything away from this guy because he clearly cares Soo much about his animals which is so greatly needed in the world. I'm just a little confused I guess because the ponds seem sorta small for the big fellas and their surrounding areas as well. Don't they need room to roam, things and shelters to interact with, different textures to move in, etc? And only rock around them..... That's going to heat them up hot hot hot in the summer, won't it? This stuff is awesome and I really appreciate the love he has for his animals. Well done, man. I wish I had land to have loads of rescued animals on, like you do. Mad respect for you, Corbin!!
