Building Holy Habits This Year // "Fast Forward" Series (Part 4) @vladhungrygen
Notes:
1. One Thing I Desired!
Scriptures: Psalm 27v4; Psalm 92v12-14; Psalm 23v6
‌
Generational curses are broken when God disconnects you from the past of your house and connects you with the destiny of His house.
- Don’t say “I don’t go to church, I am the church.”
- Don’t give up on the church because you had a bad experience with Christians in it!
2. One Thing You Need!
Scriptures: Luke 10v39, 42
One Thing is Needed: Sit at Jesus’ feet (prayer) & Listen to His words (reading the Bible).
Worry doesn’t leave when you get Jesus, worry leaves when Jesus gets you.
Jesus’ antidote for being overwhelmed in life is developing a devotional life. (Phil 4v6; Mt 6v33)
Devotions will not choose you, you must choose them.
- Make a decision to be at Jesus’ feet and listen to His word.
- Come to church once a week to pray.
- Memorize 1-2 verses a week.

Sacrifice is giving what costs you, it's not convenient, and usually it’s painful.
Sacrifice is not measured by what we give, but rather by what we have left.
Sacrifice is giving our treasure, not our tithe.
- Purpose in your heart this year to tithe.
- Prayerfully consider giving your best and sacrificial gift toward the building fund

My wife is 8 months pregnant and as she was driving today, she got involved in a terrible head collision accident. Her car was pushed away 15 metres away while she was inside. I thank God she survived and the baby is okay. God is great.

This message hit me a few times. I'm a military spouse and we're moving in a month or so and we don't have much money to work with. I have to find a new job in a new city and get my daughters into good schools. I've been so worried about everything I've neglected dwelling in God's house. I'm going to rededicate myself to spending time at the feet of Jesus, believing that all things will work out by His will. Great message as always Pastor Vlad!

@thelukewarmchristian1742 I was raised in the church. As I reached my teenage years I was drawn to the things of the world. Fast forward to 9/2018 lost a 20year relationship so I was newly single and started looking to get right with God. Found myself in a new relationship 6/2019 still didn’t fully commit myself to the Lord until this year 1/2023, but I am still a baby in Christ and am learning. What has helped you in your Journey back to God?

We had a really horrible experience in our 13:10 church one devastation after the other and it caused us to stop attending any church. We are now,years later, visiting churches and it’s hard and uncomfortable. The devil keeps putting people in our face with exhibitionists n unfriendly people. Today listening to Vlad has encouraged me to keep searching n seeking the church Jesus wants us in. Seek and yea shall find God will direct our steps.

This message challenges me to seriously identify & consider all the things that may not be considered sinful but keep me from the precious time that I desire to be with the lover of my soul - The blessed Trinity. 👍👍👍👍👍 Choosing to apply God's word to my life and situations. I've struggled with intense anxiety and depression for many years. Back in oct. 22' I found a healthy church to root myself in. After learning HOW TO apply His word, I started to experience peace and joy every day! Stress was super high in any and all situations. Now, God reminds me "what can I learn" in this stressful/uncomfortable situation? He ends up giving me a great gift of continued peace, joy but also growth! Instead of going into a situation with a defensive attitude ready to have be defensive. I talk to God by reminding myself of who he is. That He fights my battles, I don't need to have to walk in with a defensive attitude. All I need to do is be still and loving. The situation has worked out EVERY SINGLE TIME! I even have worship songs playing in my head during the day and when I open my eyes in the morning! Bless you, I'm learning from your messages along with my own church! :)

Yes Pastor Vlad, we need to be plugged into a church body - not church hopping, but committed and under authority. It's not a perfect place, because I'm there.But it. Is a safe place for me spiritually. I prayed and waited on the Lord, and He sent me there. I won't leave until HE directs. Been plugged in there since 2005.

One thing. Just got broken up with. Me and my girlfriend broken up. Cause i moved in with her both had brokenness’s etc. she came out of witchcraft,drugs, depression. Wanting to be married but I wasn’t able to help her or listen to her or understand her issues. She said she feel out of love with me pray for healing for her! Shes a almost a year old in Christ

I’ve been listening and reading the Word. I’ve been listening and putting into practice what Vlad teaches. I’m trying so hard to stay positive but my family is killing me. My mom is never happy. I can’t do anything right. It’s killing me inside, it’s scary not knowing what or when God is going to help. Im just defeated.

Thankyou so much pastor Vlad,I have been so confused about this subject of giving since yesterday and I was looking for clarity froma modern day preacher,someone who actually practiced Mark 10:17 .I go online and I find this particular sermon.Thankyou so much for your ministry and for preaching The truth as it is direct from the Holy Bible!
