The 5600x is a game changer for sff. 65 watt part and doesnt draw more than like 77 watts if u stress every thread in cinebench. Being able to run a chip that will draw 40-60 watts while gaming that delivers comparable frames to a 10900k is really revolutionary

I managed to snag one during the supply shortages toward the end of last year. I had to pretty much check the stock from my retailer on a daily basis for a couple of months, when they got some in they'd sell out very fast! But I managed to get one at RRP! Yep, the 5600x is a fantastic CPU for gaming. A processor in AMD's *budget* range competing (at the time I got it) among Intel's high-mid to top range... It's amazing.

Okay. For those needing them. Tips for building in the SG13 from someone who's done it about 8 times. 1. Use an SFX PSU. Silverstone sells an adaptor bracket. 2. That's it. The additional cooler height clearance and front fan spacing makes it easy to use any cooler you'd wish. (Within reason.) And this is also the primary method of fitting an AIO in the system. Edit. Tip 2. Thicker cards and graphics cards in general, are intended to be slid in from the front. Not placed in the case at an angle. You can fit larger cards than the ones used in this video in this case. You just have to know how.
@nightcorefusion3884

@J-Cire Yeah, I've looked at that case before. Not too much larger than the 13 but it has a lot more room to build. Probably the best option for modern parts. GPUs are becoming quite large.

Don't get me wrong, the O-11 is a beautiful case, but its huge and heavy, and 9 fans is a shitload. You know how much 9 Corsair LL or QL fans cost? Like $300+!Really wish I had done the mini version for multiple reasons now, but there's always next time. I guarantee the 2nd build i do will be much smaller and lighter.

I have the smaller older version of it called the SG05. - It has a 120mm AIO in Push-Pull with Arctic P12 fans. -The SFX PSU is mounted where the fans is pointing up. - It has two 3.5" HDDs. One is mounted on the radiator and one between the PSU and GPU. I'm planning to modify the top rails so they are both on top side-by-side. - It has two SATA SSDs. Both are mounted beside the radiator on the right, away from the GPU exhaust. - It has a 70mm (or 60?) fan on the GPU extracting air out of the GPU and away from the HDD beside it. It has a switch in front so I put it on off during light load for ultimate silence. - I used to have a fan on the side by the PSU/CPU extracting air. But I realized that the mosfets kept overheating so I mounted an old Stock LGA775 fan only on my waterblock to push air thru the VRMs. Just like the GPU fan, it has a switch in front so I can keep it off for ultimate silence when watching movies or doing light tasks. Future plans: Modify the top rail to accept two 3.5in HDDs. I might be able to modify the back case just below the PSU to mount some 40mm fans or laptop slim fans to help extract air from the board. I dont think its needed though. Once I get both HDDs on top I can just use the vacated space behind the GPU to create a vent for an exhaust fan.

I used to have my system on a SG13. I had to cut up the upper lip on the inside of the case on the side of the GPU so that I could install a Sapphire Pulse 5700xt as it was too wide and tall to fit in there. I also had a SFX-L PSU and a Corsair H60 as well. As for airflow I also added a 92mm fan on the other side of the case using zip ties so my components received fresh air from the side. It was a tight fit but my Ryzen 2700x idled at 60C and topped at 80C when gaming. Being my first build I struggled for a bit while assembling it, but it was a lot of fun!

Built a system for a coworker last year using this case and it was one of the best builds I ever did. I was able to use all BeQuiet and AMD components with a 140mm fan in the front. Use the top rails for cable management and there is enough space in the front grill to sneak in a 200mm RGB strip.

Had to remove the low profile Scythe cooler in favor of a 120mm AIO from Coolermaster and def swapped out my PSU for a SFX PSU. Just no room for anything once you start filling it with SATA drives. Still runs today with a 2400G, RX570, 16GB of DDR4 ram on an Asus B450 mini itx board. Glad to see others still using this oldie but goodie case!

You can get an sfx pay in there without the adapter. At the top left of the PSU hole there is a little tab like an inch in from the corner, the top left screw hole on the sfx PSU will line up with that whilst the top right screw hole will line up with the cases regular top right screw hole. Won't be pretty, but it'll hold.

After upgrading to my current PC last year, as kind of a fun project, I re-cased my old i7-4790k and GTX 1070 FE with this case, since it was originally on an ITX motherboard in a mATX case, and I used a full sized ATX PSU, and had a SATA SSD since NVME wasn't a thing yet on that old of a system. Definitely had to figure out the best way to put everything in since the ATX PSU takes up SO MUCH space, and cable management was a challenge. I threw on the stock Intel cooler to fit since I wasn't trying to spend any more money than I had to, but I also added a front intake fan to at least help what little airflow there is in this case. I was able to sell it to my cousin, so it has a happy home now. That beast of a CPU is definitely thermal throttling with that anemic cooler, but, they're not going to notice, hopefully, and day-to-day performance was still pretty good for Microsoft Word and Facebook, and will be much better that any laptop they were planning to buy to play games like Fortnite, especially at the price point they were looking for. Of course, now I get called if the printer won't connect, but you know how that goes...

Still use my Ryzen 3600 build in a Silverstone SG13-- works great 3 years on. Had a EVGA 550 G3 in there for a year. A full sized modular WILL work, but ohh boy it kills your airflow. Pair that with the standard cpu fan and it's a hot box. Installed a Fractal ION SFX 500G ps and a Corsair H60 AIO and never looked back.

Should have mentioned that I used the same Noctua AM4 cooler right before the AIO option-- works, but heat was still crazy.

Really enjoyed this build. 4 GPU changes into it, the 6800 comes out. I’m interested to see how it does on the OLED. It should do very well. I have an AIB 6800 and can play some rather demanding titles at 120-140 FPS @1440p paired with just a 3600. I’ll be looking forward to the upcoming video.

Almost identical to my own build. I bought the Silverstone adapter for the SFF PSU - it has a little more ventilation. I did find that the Noctua low profile cooler did not really provide enough cooling though (CPU temps over 55 degrees C under idle load with a ASRock X570 Mobo). I had to use the Silverstone AIO. I can assure that that it fits. Just. My "gotcha" during the build (and there always is one) was that the ASRock X570 mobo uses the Intel cooler spacing rather than AMD. Had to buy the Noctua low profile cooler for Intel chips, then swap it out to the Silverstone AIO when I found that the cooling was inadequate. I'd be interested to see what temperatures you get. Mine were way too high.

the reason HDMI is still very popular I think is because its easy it also carries audio signal, I don't know if display port does yet, but the common layman or woman, doesn't have a fancy setup like most of us do, so HDMI is very standard because its easy and convenient.

Very entertaining videos. Love the look of that Noctua CPU cooler and the fit on the two GPUs was oddly satisfying to me.

My recent main build uses the Sugo 15, much the same as the above but support for 240mm AIO and 3 slot GPUs. I have the 6900XT Red Devil and it 'just' fits. Great video, ITX is awesome.

To make my new ASUS Dual RX 6600 XT fit, I cut two short notches in the frame, and then used pliers to bend the frame flat where it had been 90 degrees. And I didn't put the cover back on so airflow is no issue. Dust will be, of course.

I had to use a large PSU sucks but it works I actually ran my front fan backwards because there's a lot of heat pooling in the back around the CPU vent. It seems to work better overall running the fan as an exhaust.

I'm a big fan of Silverstone products but man some ITX PC cases are challenging to work with. Granted I do like ITX cases ever since seeing Nintendo GameCube's tiny shell. Great video as always, Greg.

im using this case currently. You should do push pull 120 rads for even greater temps. and yes psu face down. But my setup is even crazier..i put 2 60mm fans on top of my gpu blowing air out through the vents above. and I put another exhaust 80mm fan on right vents beside PSU. Stonks temps

@@GregSalazar Yes indeed. Also i found this pcpartpicker build where someone managed to fit the rx 6800 xt into this case but it was quite difficult. Additionally, they installed the same silverstone 120mm aio. For my brothers pc, the corsair h60 aio (2018 model) fits with no issues. pcpartpicker.com/b/3brV3C

Reminds me of the Dan cases, have worked in those and always needed to be specific with hardware. Rear-blowing cards are a pretty big must in these small cases, big temp difference from what I have found.
