The way the exterior of the house turned out was great! Definitely gives family vacation "cabin" in the woods/mountains vibes. Maybe you could do the kitchen and bathroom sinks separate? For example, when you do the "restock" for the second part, you could include the toilet and sink for that part, while doing all the kitchen sinks with the fridges and counters in the first "stock." That way you end up with proper kitchen sinks for once 😆

There is also a function to mark the sinks as "kitchen sink" or "Bathroom sink" by just clicking on the sinks separately. Which I think it can prevent your sims having to go wash a plate in a bathroom sink. Might work 😊

I think it would be interesting if you randomised the sims already in the game and then whoever you got, you had to build a house based on them.

Great build! It feels like an interior design show, where the family can pick a few items to use and they don't really work together and the professionell just makes a perfect job, using these items...:D

Makes me think of a childminders house in the summer. Big outdoor area with games, murphy beds could be for the younger kids needing naps... Or, the parents who adopt all of their kids friend the house for sleepovers, play dates, study sessions

The mom is actually a spy and she is undercover for almost 9 years. The husband don't know everytime he has suspected she did a ridiculous purchase so the kids are happy and the husband "thinks" she is a busy woman but she loves her family... How long could she hold this secret🤫

usually, i prefer when you change the swatches and let your creativity flow, but i appreciate the effort in keeping the same swatches as they picked, this house turned out amazing ❤❤

I get that the chaos is part of the fun but if you wanted to, you could set sinks as kitchen sinks or toilet sinks so that the sims will only use the ones for kitchen when washing up. That way you would probably have a bigger chance of getting one of each.

maybe the listening device is for the parents to observe their kids like if they get into fights the parents will know through the listening device or something like that! Love you SYD!

How cute! You can really turn some random furniture into a cute little lake (okay it's a pond but let me believe!) home! Would definitely have loved to see a spy grandma in the end though! The luggage around really sealed the deal as this being a comfy home away from home!

I like how you did the pathway to the backyard. I always have problems with the worn in grass look and it is because i do the gravel then the dirt. You did dirt first with gravel on top which is perfect and low key genius!!!

This house reminded me of a family friends house in a skiing town in Colorado, near the Rocky Mountains… very nostalgic honestly! This challenge is so fun to watch and you always kill it with the decorations!!! If you do this again you should try assigning the sinks to be kitchen sinks & bathroom sinks so the sims can choose to use either.

When putting down the bathroom sinks and kitchen sinks to choose from, remember to use the set sink type feature. It should help the Sims use actual kitchen sinks for washing their plates (And thereby picking a sink)

Idea: I've tried a few times but you'll do it a lot better... A shell challenge but you change the style of a building. For example, you change Ophelia Manor into a Greek Revival style building. Or you change one of the 1950s Oasis Springs buildings into a Victorian cellar. The list is endless and it's really fun!

I love this I was creating a storyline that this family has a massive family. And they're the ones that host all the big holiday functions because they have the best house and the most room. They host Christmas or Hanukkah, Thanksgiving, and Easter, and they throw a massive 4th of July Barbeque, Halloween Party, and New Year's Party. Also the grandparents live with them in the downstairs bedroom next to the son and the grandma and grandpa are ex-spies/secret agents.

If you do this kind of build/challenge again, maybe you could set the sinks to “bathroom” or “kitchen” sinks first. That way, the sims won’t do the dishes in a bathroom sink and you actually get a kitchen sink ;) I really love that option!

Maybe next time when theyre picking out the sinks, set the sink type so they can avoid picking out the bathroom sink for the kitchen :) I love the blue and brick its so stunning 😊
