I understand that you love Hammy but that cage isn't big enough for ANY hamster not just because he is "active" and you shouldn't wake up your hamster it isn't good for them. You could've at least waited until night time.

It's so sad! Your Hamster needs nature wood and not plastic toys! Hamster don't want to be put into plastic tubes. Hamster need a large enclosure where there is a lot of litter in it. Where they can bake themselves. Please take it to heart and make your hamster a beautiful life! Please buy good wood with small wooden houses where they can creep ! Thanks!

@@edgar-nf5kw no, but underground tunnels do, which the tubes are meant to replicate. And people need to stop comparing pets to wild animals. They are not the same thing. Technically, it's not natural to keep them in a cage at all with wood shavings when they would live in an underground network of tunnels in the wild, but unless you're going to put the hamster in the backyard and let it dig it's own tunnels and find it's own food and water and let it defend itself from predators, this is what you've got.

Actually you can compare domestic hamsters to wild hamsters. Hamsters in the wild explore up to 9 miles of land OUTSIDE OF THE TUNNELS. The tunnels are used for 2 reasons, stashing and sleeping. Thank you 😊

it means taking care of it properly and do research before buying stuff that do not benefit your hamster, and its also a waste of money. even if its a hamster, its still considered a living creature, and some call it a part of family, so that what it means by giving it a beautiful life.

A hamster’s dream home: a huge box w some comfy ass bedding, a ceremic house, a good quality water bottle n wooden toys. Not that horrible thing u built. Plus a huge box is much easier to clean n find ur hamster.

Please get a bigger cage for your hamster. 450 sq in is the minimum but the bigger the better. A 40+ gallon tank or a 110+ qt bin cage would be perfect

urhm it's quite obvious your hamster *hates* the cage because it started climbing on the metal bars. it needs a minimum *unbroken* floor space of 450 square inches. And it's obvious your cage didn't meet the criteria.

Ethan even had they like the ball which they most likely dont those tiny holes in the ball do not provide enough and I'm pretty sure hamsters rely on scent to move around which the ball is blocking and the tiny holes can get a hamsters foot stuck in it which can break or tear off their foot

@@auntjemima2335 hamster toes can get stuck and injured in the ventilation slits, thr ventilstion slits are also small and doesn't allow for much air so it is stuffy inside the ball, the hanster can't come and ho as they like and is forced to stay in the ball whether they like it or not until the owner gets them out ans since hamster eyesight aren't that great they rely on their sense of smell and whiskers to navigate, if they're in the ball they can't use their sense of smell to navigate so they probably end up just walking randomly and bumping into things

You should buy a storage bin from target, get an awl and make a hole in the side, and make that tube city a side cage accessible via rubbles - the main cage should have 450 square inches of uninterrupted floor space.

Hello, Rug... That is really Awesome,that they have so many different types and sizes of the to make Hammie's cage bigger & as many look outs that you want !!! It is also very nice of your dad to help you !! Sometimes it is really a pain in rear end to build thing like hammie's cage !! I think Hammie is going to really have lots of fun & I think he is going to be ready for more pieces to added !!! So as far as a part 2 , for sure !! I think Hammie would love 💘 to have a part two !!!

I know faze rug is like a new hamster owner but I feel like in the future he should get like a bin/tank cage for hammy. Like at least 450 or so sq. inches cage for his hamster. Also bar climbing is a sign of distress and he could possibly be bar chewing which is bad for his teeth, he also needs chews for his teeth and just basic hamster needs. Just recommendations for future hamster owners and to help Faze rug for his hamster. 👌🏼👍🏻

Yeah, the minimum should be 450 unbroken square inches, it's also recommended to have 6 inches of bedding.

Honey, you are a rich kid. If you want your Hammy to be truly happy,and comfortable, buy him a 40 gallon cage from IKEA. Do some research on what a hamster really needs to be have the proper enrichment filled life. I know you're a sweet kid...but that cage is two small. Your heart was in the right place..but its just two tiny cages separated by tubes.

Two crittertrails not a good cage. Honestly, this is not a “dream” cage. Just get like, a bin cage that can fit YOU inside! That is a better cage for your poor hamster, please do more research on hamsters or this can be considered animal neglect From~ Experienced hamster owner Edit: that is not the best hamster cage in existence, just look at how erinsanimals makes her cages, because people like her actually do their research and LEARN

Yea it does not have to be like the best cage (like the tropical rsinforest cage hoppinghammy made, which might be difficult to maintain for some) it just gotta be large enough and a bin is good for a cage. It's pretty cheap, add a wheel n a hamster house in it etc and done~

I recommend getting a big tank for his house. Even though it looks like it’s fun for him he accualy is very cramped there. And he could get stuck in those tubes 💞 just recommend
