Building my new jump trial hybrid bike - Ultimate urban MTB! I modify my dirt jump bike into a do-everything urban MTB freeride machine. With new upgrades this jump trial hybrid is ready to shred, would you ride this bike?
I received some brand new wheels from HALO which enabled me to get my plan moving of making my dirt jump bike into to a half trial bike half jump bike which would be perfect for urban MTB freeride missions! I start the video off by breaking my bike down and replacing all the parts with fresh new bike bits such as a new wheelset, different forks, new front brake and a 5 speed custom gear system. The new halo wheel comes with a small half sized cassette body for running those short gear setups, perfect for 4X or jump trial hybrids. After finishing the bike build I head out into the streets of my hometown to find some fun features to hit. The best thing about this bike is that I can ride both trial style features and faster jump bike hits to and I'm also way more comfortable with the positioning of this bike rather than the conventional trial bike I have. So after riding at the first spot we find a few more places to ride before sessioning at the local skatepark where I learn a new trick, and to finish off the video I head to the triple threat zone that had a huge drop and a fun stair set of doom!
