the "see you next time" from the laser cutter sounded a lot like Idotic Synergy's tiny tyranid from his videos :D also watching the laser cutting stuff out isn't just a boy thing, I enjoy it too. though it may be an adhd thing haha

I love the idea of some MDF terrain, the one downside is usually shipping. The weight of MDF sheets adds up quickly. I'd also love to see some MDF game aids (score tracker, unit carry trays, rolling Tray, etc) with your logo.

Happy birthday! Merch terrain would be cool. You can combine it with terrain painting tutorials to tie in. People search for terrain tutorials, watch, then somewhere you say "btw you can buy it". Only issue is commercial license for sources, but I guess you know that.

Also the most satisfying part of any laser project is when you can pick up the material you just cut out and all the little pieces stay on the laser bed. It’s like perfection!

I like the idea of nice lasercut terrain for merch. For sure there are others that offer it but if it supports the channel, the choice is easy! If I wouldn't only be thinking now to get one myself. Damn! it!

I have been looking at hoodies and T-shirts but the margins are so slim, if I used a print on demand service and someone bought £30 a hoodie to support the channel, £3 would go to the channel. I’d love to produce some but I just need the capital to buy a batch and store myself rather than these thieving services. The Mdf terrain and lizard of doom coasters idea could fund a more expansive merch store eventually though. 😊

Happy birthday! Do take care when laser cutting MDF though, doing so releases some nasty chemicals - is that air filter dealing with them or is it just keeping the air around the laser free from smoke?

Thank you mate 🙂 It keeps the laser free from smoke, I made sure it was well ventilated and on my feedback to Creality I’ve said they should include an extractor fane and hose in the base kit.

@@user-gj9up3tf1y it was quite similar really, the smell was different but not awful. The main downside was the one side being rough so i had to sand some bits to fit.
