the story i see here is two sims who are going to school for art, the pastel pop one 100% is an introvert going for animation and character design likely has a pretty decent following on tiktok and youtube, theyre an introvert who occasionally has a best friend or two over but tends to be a homebody, thats why they make their home so happy. while the neutral person is going for architecture and has dinner parties and such all the time defiently the type to have a party where everyone comes with a different themed cocktail, game nights, etc thats why their tv is in on a more private floor from the entertaining area. the two are pretty neutral with each other and see eachother when picking up their mail but dont very much interact i could totally see them getting past it and see how much they have in common past surface level though.

this! tho i see them being friends. they chose to leave near each other than together since their lifestyles classes then they bought the similar furnitures/things at the same time but in a different color to fit their personal aesthetic. either way, it’s so cute!!

Oohhh. I absolutely love this idea. While I loved Syd's original idea too as it was great and totally made sense. I also really like the sort of the "unexpected" element of this one wherein the colorful sim is the introverted one who doesn't like parties. And I really like the idea of these two opposite sims becoming friends later down the road. I'm a sucker for anything romantic but I also see these two as remaining friends rather than falling in love with each other. HOWEVER... since I am a big romantic at heart and would love to see romance play into this somehow... maybe the two sims who live here do end up falling in love... but their respective partners are either best friends or siblings, which brings them all closer together as a group and having our OG sims become really close in the process. I was initially picturing two very different female sims living in the dorm who fall in love with a set of brothers (perhaps even twins) and well obviously with them each dating a brother... the bros are going to want to hang out together but with their girlfriends which would sort of "force" the girls to hang out more often and realize they have more in common than they initially thought and become friends, perhaps even best friends along the way. And well maybe despite how things work out with the BFs (although I like happy endings so in my mind they marry their respective BFs) and maybe end up moving beside each other after graduating college so their kids can grow up together and the two girls are now raising their kids together. Details like gender identity, sexuality whether the love interests are brothers or friends can all be switched around of course. That's just the best way I could describe the idea on my mind. 😊

I literally LOVE your videos. Since I discovered you a few days ago I can‘t stop watching your videos. I really like the way you talk so calm and explain every little move. An idea i got while watching this video is: What about the weather people? You know this? Where it‘s like one house but splitted in the middle into two and then on the left side lifes the rainy weather and on the right the bright, sunny weater! I don‘t know what it might be called.

I usually love colourful builds more but for some reason the neutral one caught my eyes the most it looks sooo great! I also really love the shell you build here it makes me want to take it and try to do "opposite aesthetic" as well. You should try spooky vibes vs christmas vibes haha great video as always 💕

I think they are def friends. I could see the pastel sim to have gifted the cow rug and the panda trash can to the neutral sim lol like the neutral sim is trying to get out of themselves a little and have a little “fun” accents. :)

Day 3 of suggesting this! Hey Syd! I have a build idea for you and I think it would turn out so cool with your creativity. The idea is to build a house that looks just like any home. It has a kitchen, living room, bathroom, couple of bedrooms, etc. The twist is that nothing in this house is actually functional. So you need to use objects that aren,'t fuctional or place items so that your sims can' t use them. They can't cook, go to bed or shower, use the toilet or sit anywhere. The challenge is to still make it look like a nice home. Just an idea I tought would be nice to share. Thank you for making so amazing content as you do

I definitely see the two sims being friends, especially with how similar a lot of their furniture is, just in different swatches! My headcanon is that they go furniture shopping together a lot, just getting items in different shades. Also, them having very different styles but having similar furniture can be a metaphor for how they don't seem similar on the surface, but still have a lot in common deep down. Also, I love both of these townhouses so much! I'd love to live in either one, I genuinely think I prefer the neutral one though

You should do a random aesthetic build where you have to spin twice for each room/tiny home! So you end up with weird combos like goth-cottagecore, pastel-academia, minimalist-steampunk, etc.

Pastel is definitely my favourite of the two, but that’s more because I forget to use clutter most of the time. 😂 I also love that most of the Pastel items include black and/or white swatches for some neutral choices.

here are the people i think would live there! on the pastel side, we have a tidy introvert who loves art and funky things no one would buy. they probably make sure their side is very clean/quaint and they seem to be very quiet, rarely to be heard from the other side of the building.. i would say they spend a lot of time painting, chilling out, playing video games, diy-ing and all sorts like that! they are (in my mind) a humble, homie, good spirited geek who stays at home but when they go out are the funny one who lifts the mood! also at home they are pretty conservative and fun at the same time, making sure not to bother the neighbours. on that topic, only inviting the best of friends round not to bother the friendly folk next door. on the neutral side, we have an outgoing, seemingly perfect, quaint extravert who is the biggest plant mom of the century. they love everything to match and are a big perfectionist, but also like things to feel lived in and functional. they love neutral tones of course, and they love the grand tones u find in nature. earthy, fresh feeling colours are their favourite way to express their way through their home, although they don’t spend as much time in it. they love to cook, have friends over, go out, work, doodle and sketch. they are very impatient and times but do care about others and spend so much time in local nature.

Man, I'm watching this video after the minimalist vs maximalist one, and I think I just got very clear confirmation that that colour is NOT my thing. In this one, the pastel house was making me so uncomfortable. Thinking about walking into a house like that was giving me anxiety. 😂

Funny you should say that Sydney because I was looking up compact office chairs and found this exact heart shaped chair on Amazon. I never thought I'd find a Sims item IRL but I did and it was before I knew it was in the kit too so it's not like I was purposfully looking but thought it was so cute when I saw it so there ya go :)

I've followed you since you had about 20k subscribers and I am so proud of how far you've come and it makes me happy to see that you're finally getting the recognition you deserve. Although I definitely don't comment on your vids as much as I should, I just wanted to let you know you are by far one of my favorite Sims builders and your creativity never ceases to amaze me. ❤ I'm not a builder by any means but you inspire me to want to try and get into it a little more. So, we have a bin foot without a lid. It lifts the inner bin, making it easier to take out the full bin bag as well as put in the new bin bag. Not sure if it was that, but then Jesse is a Brit as well so potentially has had a similar bin to myself? Idk. Anyway. That's what I took it as

If you do this again, before a bathroom kit is released, kits and stuff packs only. Since kits replaced stuff packs. Then you have toilets at least.

While the new clutter kit could be useful and realistic especially for family homes, I wish they made it a little more cohesive with a stronger design perspective.
