I'm really really liking my dark bronze SMCO visors. I use them every time I drive my Elf. I had a day long event a couple of hours away a couple of weekends ago, and I ended up driving directly into the sun in the morning and again on the return trip late in the day. I just dropped my visor down and had instant sun screen. Awesome!

Long time subscriber here! All good info .. I'm working on a 62 Austin mini van I'm working on the wiring the suspension & axles Do you guys do final adjustments & tuning? It would be great to give it a once over, make sure to fix any small issues I could trailer it up, there is a shop in Oregon but I really want to start driving it its been parked for almost 20 years, with a new motor from 7 mini in California

Thank you so much for the videos. I'm just wondering if you guys have resolved the issue with fuel leaking from the fuel cap. My 850 fuel cap always leak fuel after driving and cornering. It only happens when the tank is almost full. Is there a way to resolve this issue? From what I've read on Google, people had no success even after replacing the fuel cap.

Well, you can always try and replace the cap, or dont fill the tank to much, you need room for the fuel to expand. We've owned nearly ten Mini's and only experienced fuel leak in our Van when the fuel expanded while standing in the sun.

Cheers. You could always grab a measuring tape and see how they might fit if you drilled the holes yourself. The spacing between the mounting holes is 13".

Do they block sunlight better than your original smoke grey model? I'm planning on having a tint company make them darker because it doesn't really block sunlight too well. Love the design though !!

You can make them darker by getting someone to do it.

The acrylic itself is the same tint, so I recommend tinting it darker if you want more protection. UV protection would be a plus as well.

Is it illegal to fit a windscreen/front window thats got a factory top-tint? Know Canada had some very wierd rules on mini's bumpers so maybe..?

Window tint on the upper edge of the windscreen is common in Canada so I don't see why you couldn't install it.
