There was a specific reason why Queen Hortense (wife/step-niece of Louis Napoleon) hated this palace. Her firstborn son Charles died young, and Louis blamed Hortense. He even had a statue of their son's corpse carved above Hortense's bedroom door. It's still there actually! If I'm not incorrect I think Hortense only stayed in the palace three more nights after that. She took her other children to Paris, had a lover, an illegitimate child and never looked back.

I don't usually watch build videos, just look for things to grab from the gallery, but I love actually listening to yours! The little history lesson makes it so interesting. With the For Rent pack coming up, some Regency-era townhomes would be amazing. I'd also love to see Castle Leoch (Doune Castle) from Outlander. You've done art nouveau, so an art deco build would be cool too.

I had never seen the interiors of this palace and after checking , I have to say, you did a gorgeous job. I loved the details and the effort you put to make anything resembling the real ones. I build castles and historical buildings too and I understand the struggle of keeping the proportions and of trying creating the best solution when you don’t have the possibility to use specific cc. Maybe it’s the biggest plan I could ask, but it’d be great to see the château de Versailles made by you, since there’s more cc about it. Thanks

So good!! Thank you for the Dutch history speedrun, hadn't really even thought of their history to be honest. :D I was such a science girl (still am) in school so history wasn't my strongest subject and now as an adult I've tried to kind of catch up. :D Still hoping for some art deco!
