I know this is a very late post (four years), but I just had an ocular migraine for the first time twice in two weeks. It scared me like crazy as I lost vision in one eye for about 20 minutes (tunnel vision). Glad to see that you have still been building and posting these videos for us--incredibly helpful. I also look forward to making another order from your shop. You are so helpful in your tech support. D. Cox

Love what you are doing with this one. As soon as I saw it I thought "factory" so looking forward to your diorama! As to the interior light. Why hide it? Build a factory working light, you know long cable, wire cage round the bulb, clamp to attach it to things etc and drape the wire over the tank and into the hull. I'm sure they would have had several of them over each tank as they worked inside to build it up. Just a thought

Hi everyone. I doing exactly same model but I find more problems during my building. Everybody which decide to built this kit need to follow instruction step by step with no matter what, so than after will be less pain and stress as I was have. The model looks great but is no easy and only one think I don't like for the price which you need to pay I will expect the clear plastic parts for periscopes. I hope my comments will be helpful . King Regards Andy for doing this film and all model fans.

Great vid, always loved the Panther. About the lights, since the workers would need lights too, if you can find thin wires, you could just run them out of the tank and even make the lamps visible. I think a lot of wires and stuff running out of the tank would really ad life to the piece.

Hey, Andy. I enjoy your videos a lot. I have a book from 1988 by Hal Sanford, "The Illustrated Modelaholic". Hal uses photos and written descriptions of projects he has done. Somewhat crude by today's standards, it is still inspiring to look through. One of the projects in the book is a Tamiya Panther, partially disassembled in a "Feldwerkstatt", a rear echelon heavy repair station. The turret is suspended above a Panther by a 15 ton field crane. I bring it up as a variation of your factory idea, which incidentally is another featured diorama in the same book. A Tiger under construction, but worthwhile to look at for ideas for your Panther setting. I see some copies for sale from Amazon, (cheap), if you don't have one; worth a look.

Whoa! I had an ocular migraine last year for the first time too. In my case I saw in my left eye a low frequency "Z" pattern that kept growing slowly. It looked like marching ants you see in selection boxes in Photoshop. I had retinal surgery in my right eye early last year so I thought I was losing my "good" eye too!

Suggestion: Build a "Strabokran", to lift the turret. You can set it before the actual tank, because it has wheels. That way you can make it look, as if the turret is soon to be moved over and assembled to the hull. Quote: _The Strabokran was a transportable street gantry crane used by the Wehrmacht tank repair units in World War II_ _The company J. S. Fries son in Frankfurt developed the strabokran before the beginning of the war. There were three variants_ _which differed by payloads of 15 to 16 tonnes and different years of construction. Until the end of world war II, about 100_ _pieces were built, partly under license from the company Stratenwerth in Duisburg. Half-chain tractors_ (Sd.Kfz. 8 or Sd.Kfz. 9) _pulled the strabokran in the field. To build a Strabokran, ten soldiers needed about an hour_ *Only workshop companies of units equipped with Panthers or Tigers had them* " upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c1/Bundesarchiv_Bild_101I-244-2323-28A%2C_Ostfront-S%C3%BCd%2C_Reparatur_von_Panzer_V_%28Panther%29.jpg [ *Panther with Strabokran* ] weapons-of-war.ru/_ph/35/292199168.jpg [ *Strabo with turret lifted off of hull* ]
