Using skills I learnt in a TAFE course (Technical And Further Education), I built my own forge and started building my T800. The project took approximately 4 years.
There were many hurdles to overcome because I was building a fully articulated life size Terminator T800. Modified from a resin copy, I had to recreate parts that were static so that joint movement was possible.
230 movable joints and pistons. This included spine, hips, shoulders, knees, ankles, toes and fingers etc. There are over 70 videos documenting the build.
He is made from recycled aluminium, weighs more than 130kgs, has over 500 individual pieces, 280+bolts, and 60 hoses and cables.

Jaz Creations Not at all. As a former machinist I was awestruck the entire length of this video. Thank you for 33 minutes of pure how-it's-made entertainment! This is the product of tremendous amounts of dedication, enthusiasm, patience, money, talent, among many other things. The fit and finish of the end product is so stunning, I wouldn't be surprised if you were eventually approached by a production studio to use your endoskeleton in a film. Probably the biggest obstacle in making that happen would be simply making people aware it exists. You might want to consider some kind of insurance for this work of art! Words can't begin to describe how impressive your finished work is. It could easily launch you into a new profession. Thank you for pursuing this project and turning your vision into a reality! I'm a big fan of the Terminator films, as well... There is no question that this is the ultimate piece of memorabilia that could exist for this entire franchise.

This is legit one of the most incredible videos on KZfaq I've ever watched. Its not because of the subject content itself (although I've been a huge Terminator fan myself more or less my whole life), but because the dedication you showed, the respect to the source material, and the insane length of labor this ended up being. Props.

I take on pretty ridiculous sized projects with similar attention to details, but even i am pretty speechless with this build... i would probably never took on making this from aluminum, specially using casting method.. with proper machinery at hand for essentially free maybe cnc'd version, but to cast and polish this... damn. My hands hurt from just watching this! If i may, how much would be resin kit from the final build (base not needed), with a hose kit? Probably too much for my budget, but i gotta ask... Also why i have ridiculous idea in my head that technically you could replace fake pistons with working replicas and get this actually move and work? :D

Yep, you could put in real pistons, I may even do some animatronic additions in the future... Not really making up kits right now, I'm just to busy they do show up on EBay from time to time, just be careful though, the quality can leave a bit to be desired.

You sir, are a genius. That's awesome work. Literally, I am in awe of what you have accomplished. Where did you get all of the aluminum? I have a mental image of you melting down hundreds of thousands of soda cans.

Easily one of the top three, if not the number one most difficult projects I've ever seen on KZfaq! The ingenuity you've shown is extremely impressive; not to mention the drive and determination to finish such a herculean task! Truly awe inspiring, Sir! Now you need to insure that work of art for at least $200,000 as it's practically irreplaceable!
