4:15 For the wall/cave entrance, I feel like for stability reasons you could do a mix of both. Having it extend far, but not too far would work for the grey wall tunnel. And if there is an angle you can see there is nothing, just add the black wall there! It’s just a suggestion. Great work on Mygeeto nonetheless! And the lights are AMAZING!

To add my thoughts to this idea, I'd say the combination would work great, but space constraints might interfere. The more realistic cave idea is the optimum but if there isn't room the classic black background will work well.

Thanks for featuring my walker, loved your review on that! If you lower the walker a bit more (so it's 1 brick off the ground) it will look even cooler and the ladder shouldn't be too short anymore. For the tunnel I'd chose a mix of both, start a curved tunnel with rock walls and once it's around the corner just end it with a black wall. Great episode overall!

5:02 Personally, I think the actual tunnel instead of just the black brick would look nice. I know it’s a lot more complex, but I think that would add a little bit of extra depth and complexity to the MOC which would look really good. Again, it’s your decision, and maybe some combination of the two would work well. I just think it would look nice and would be cool to do something you haven’t done before.

The more I've thought about it the more a combo of the two sounds like the best option.

Yet another cracking episode. I think the rockwork entrance to the left is far superior looking, you could always put black at the end of the section that you have already done so that it doesn't matter what angle you are looking from. That walker is fricking awesome, the width of the MOC makes it look like he designed it specifically for this MOC.... It could not fit any better. The details on the bunker entrance again look so cool. Simple but so effective. This MOC is going to be your best ever IMO. Keep up the awesome work Coconut.

4:10 why not both? Angle back with slopes and then when it starts to lose visibility, fill with black. But while filling with black, you can add a lot of detail by adding in Bricklink part 59349pb069

@kidcollectable4043 7 ай бұрын
4:15 I also agree with @commanderbrickstudios69 that you should do the best of both worlds with the cave entrance. Then you can have minifigures and vehicles going through it and you can also give the illusion that the cave goes deeper using the black bricks! Also congrats on hitting 3.8 million likes on this video! I am loving this series! Gives me something to look forward to just like the good old days!

To add a tad bit of detail I suggest to make a pipe using the piece that’s most commonly used as artillery barrels as, idk sewage pipe or something like that and also it more easily hide the light wires. I think it would look spectacular!

Why not have some pillars of rocks inside the second option? Make it looks like it belongs but also it would provide support and a story, you could use some of the CIS' prisoners to mine at certain pillars.

For the tunnel I think you should combine both methods. Extend the tunnel out slightly with the walls and detail the cap the back of it maybe 15 studs back or so. That way you get a nice look inside without needing extra support for the city or a ton of wasted space.
@JVID3O
@JVID3O 7 ай бұрын
I think the actual tunnel is quite fitting here. Or you go for a bit more of a cave vibe. Then, if the walls are a bit more crooked on both sides, you block the view quicker and don’t have to go too far. And you could include stalagmite pillars, to stabilise the city ontop

I think you go all out with the entrance and curve it all the way. In the end your spending A TON of time and money on this MOC and when it is done you went the best result and settling for something that doesn't look amazing but conserves parts (like doing a black wall for the entrance) might make you regret it later when the MOC is done instead of having that feeling of accomplishment and ain't nobody wants that after weeks of hard work 👍 Also I love the flight of the Valkyries in the background 😂

Thoughts for the tunnel, if you extend it try using inverted slopes to actually construct an arch instead of faking it like you did with the entrance. Reinforcing the arch bricks from behind the across the top as you build should help keep it strong. You could also just build a big door instead of the black void, it solves the problem of it just abruptly ending in darkness and being structurally tricky.

(please read into the end) 7:14 for the wall I have some options you could do. So for the straight black wall you could Make it a tunnel going straight back And then you could add lights and minifigures And then just put a black wall to cap it off (in the back) And for the cave option you could instead of making a giant tunnel just at the edge of it make a black wall so people don't just see this 5:37 then in the Droid control room that you wanted you could just add a black wall signifying a tunnel.
