Actually the PS4 is hooked to the tv then the TV is hooked to the Soundbar thus degrading the sound down to stereo and letting the Soundbar process that into FAUX surround sound. For the best audio output the PS4 would have to be plugged into the soundbar directly using HDMI. AKA he has ZERO idea how audio works in a situation like this.

^^^^ Agreed and the best Audio would come if he plugged the PS4 directly into the Soundbar via HDMI instead of relying on ARC which only gives him stereo sound and f hes getting more than that the soundbar is likely matrixing the audio to all of its channels for a FULLER sound. and thus NOT giving him proper surround channels. AKA he has 0 idea how audio with a setup like this works.

I only ever use the Wii U to watch KZfaq whenever I'm playing something else on the TV.

Jarl Ballin' or some good bookshelves, you always sacrifice some sound quality from soundbars and pay a bigger premium. I use my bookshelves in the morning/afternoon for that Fuller beefier sound/bass and at night use my headphones so I don't disturb the neighbors.

Yeah I immediately knew the video would be shit when I saw the soundbar. No one who knows anything about good sound would every touch a soundbar unless they somehow had no other possible just other than using shitty tv speakers.

That being said The Dual Shock 4 can be used on PC with some simple free software.. and It is the better controller. So I personally think the correct question is not which one has the best compatibility - but Which controller should I get to play on PC. and in my opinion the Best controller for PC right now is Dual Shock 4. If you want CHEAP get the Logitech F310 (wired) for $16 on Amazon.. It works.
