The build for the Patriot Games Season 3 Isuzu DMAX Giveaway has begun and Justin has given the crew only 72 hours to build the ULTIMATE overlanding vehicle. Before the end of the day they need to fit the TJM suspension, barwork and side steps plus the Airbag Man Suspension and GME UHF. The whole crew will have to work hard to get all the gear fitted.

Graham Cahill on 4WD Action basically has shown that the D-MAX is really capable. I actually watch the shows to see the D-MAX take on the challenges.

I work for an Isuzu dealership/service centre and the things I see when customers come in for a service amazes me sometimes on just how it hasn't bit the bullet. The 4jj1 is an absolute weapon of an engine and responds very very well to a tune and basic mods. The Dmax is definitely my pick for a dual-cab hands down. Its one of the most reliable platforms ive seen for the dual cab market in my opinion

Ive just watched season 1 and almost finished season 2. Seeing this D-Max build got me thinking, wouldn't it be totally awesome if the winner of this package could go out with the Patriot crew on an adventure to max out this comp fully :) ...!!!

Cool truck! Looking forward to more from it. I am in Colorado USA and have a 2018 Tacoma TRD off road. Love my truck, but wish our mid size trucks had the payload and robust structure of the Aussie utes! Can’t wait to come there and drive some!!

ElevationEveryWeekend thats a shame, they are very popular here in Australia. Maybe its because of your strict diesel emission standards? Along with Toyota they are known for their legendary reliability.

wimmy d they left in 2009, I think it was just low sales and they were partnered with GM and they were going thru bankruptcy after the financial meltdown. I’m sure the diesel thing is a factor, bigger companies like Toyota only sell gas here.

The dmax is reliable , powerful , capable off road , reasonable comfortable , gives out great gas milage , can tow and carry a ton of shit and is also cheap! Can it get any better?!

Great vid but you still BSing on PLastic tanks? We've used them for years and never had a problem. And yes we had done some hard stuff, Cape York (OTT) Kakadu, Vic High Country and many others. Only issue we have had with them is the OEM fuel lines at the tank end (Plastic shit) break down after about 6 or 7 years....
