Multi-Platinum rock band Collective Soul joins us to chat about long awaited ninth album, "See What You Started By Continuing," and current tour with the Goo Goo Dolls. The band wants to hear from its fans and is inviting them to #SelectTheSet. Ed, seen you all in Calgary 2018 - I Can not express enough praise - You guys were on my bucket list - I Needed to see you live and there was No disappointment. You made us "old" guys look bad (you are a year younger than myself). I celebrate your music - I have always, not just liked, loved your music. Thank You!

I love that a band records together as a unit. Most of the recording situations just takes the lead singer and backs it up with studio musicians. I know I live in the Muscle Shoals area.

My Father took me to see johnny cash too (here in kcmo at arrowhead stadium)but not LIB. My grandmother taught piano...i play piano, violin and 6-12 string acoustic guitars. my whole huge family play and sing many instruments. My cousin is Mike Dulaney...a composer of many top hits. You all are so talented and your lyrics are ethereal for me. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽✌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.our family was mixed Catholic, Baptist and red road religion! I know, I know~70 isn't quite like 69~I got something to say, not that anyone cares but I do, dang it!The scene: 1993-95 American girl: Me, myself & Riyadh, Saudi Arabia A music kiosk inside the Safestway Grocery Store. Yes, Safestway. A tiny hot mess of a kiosk packed with who knows what's, cassette tapes, cd's piled high & wide. I'm browsing the music: what can't I live without.....? I pick a random CD, no clue who. I RELATE to the title~BIG TIME: ~Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid~ I paid, left the store, got home. Insert CD. A song exploded out of the speaker's... SHINE That day Collective Soul rocked me and hooked me. They've no idea all that they've been through with me the last 30 years. But I know their music, words, spirit, energy, love, perseverance have gotten me through to today. Love them forever. Faithfully, Gayle

Obviously Ed is the band leader and we’ve heard so much from him over the years, but the interviewer should definitely have directed more questions to Dean, ie “Dean, what blah blah “ etc.

Why do shows insist on these high sitting chairs? They are so uncomfortable and you can tell by the way they keep adjusting in the seat. Why not have comfy soft chairs to sit in and be comfortable?? I wouldn’t sit in them because as a shorty, my legs never reach and that is beyond uncomfortable...

Maybe it's to help the people in the back see them. They also only sit in those seats for like 30 minutes or so, probably not more than an hour, so it's really not a big deal for that length of time.

Fuck Ross! ed writes all of the songs and nobody would know who Ross was if he wasn’t in collective soul (Ed’s band) and then he goes with Ed’s wife. Fuck Ross!!!! He’s a scumbag and highly overrated
