I love Mackie in character but at these press junkets, he interjects too much so the Q & A's are shorter. I would love for him to STFU so more people can ask questions. That's one of the reasons people attend them. IMO.

Do you know if this interview was filmed after this Monday? Cause he had a pretty difficult weekend here, in Romania... Everyone wanted to do something with him, interviews, photoshoots, he even went into a cinema to surprise the people who were watching Infinity War. And I'm not even mentioning the fangirls that literally pulled him while he was on the red carpet... Poor Sebastian... I have a higher respect now for actors like him, after seeing how hard it is to balance everything and still put on a smile for the audience.

escapefromreality I think yes. I think it was definitely filmed after his visit in Romania. You're totally right. Seb had a very difficult time lately. Photoshoots, shooting movie with Nicole Kidman, contracts for new movie, (this is amazing!), Infinity War (all that press tour and fan meeting, different time zones), big trip to Romania and more interviews now in America. It must affected on him physically. No wonder he is ill now. Hope he gets better soon. And I remember he's gonna shooting this new movie "Beat the reaper" in June. The leading role! Soon :)

Build always films right before they release it, so it was filmed 5/3. Also, I'm upset, because I go to NYU Tisch and Build is like a block up Broadway from my school, and I usually check to see when Marvel actors are coming so I can go....... and I didn't, yesterday, because I had a reading (theater) so I spent the whole day stressing and preparing for the reading. T_T

He was very tired and possibly ill at Wizard World Portland when I met him in Portland in mid April. He still had a smile on his face. Poor guy though. So sweet, always. I hope he gets a week or two to just rest w/ no interruptions.

Yes, Bucky Barnes is not a villain, but they’re referring to the winter soldier, which is the creation of hydra, and the representation of all the bad things Bucky did when Hydra controlled him. Bucky is not a villain but the winter soldier certainly is.

I love Seb's answer to the last question about the Cap. He's right, a person doesn't change overnight, Bucky's past will be always part of him. Maybe he won't / shouldn't wear American flag on his chest and the shield but I think he should contunue Steve's mission in some way. He is a complex and amazing character and his arch deserves to be explored, hopefully by Russos who seem to do him justice every time.

Okay so I was able to see this via livestream but holy heavens it felt so surreal watching Sebastian real time, I think I hyperventilated afterwards. JR Yeah that Bruce and Nat pairing is going to end. Scarlett said that Natasha has had some time to herself and even described one of their scenes as being devastating to her. Avengers infinity war barely had time for anyone’s arc so it’s obvious that they’re not going to show any development or interaction between Bruce/Nat/Bucky. A lot of scenes got cut out. So hopefully will get more of the earth bound avengers in A4

Echo V It was supposed to end in Infinity War and it didn't. They change their plans or reshoots have been done. Either way, it's continuing further for some reason. If Russo brothers cared for Bucky and Natasha as you think, they would find a way to let them at least talk to each other. They found a way to address Bruce and Natasha in the movie but they totally ignored Bucky and Natasha. Now Bucky is well SPOILER (if you saw the movie) which means no scenes between them until like the end of Avengers 4 at the very least. While Natasha and Bruce will have time to talk. While yes, there will be more scenes for Earth bound Avengers but doubt any scenes will feature Bucky and Natasha due to events of Infiínity War. Avengers 4 is complicated enough which makes me doubt they'll explain anything there.

What was with the lack of TeamCap in this movie, especially Cap himself, Steve Rogers? He hardly had any scenes or lines or character development, and it's just disappointing, especially since his scenes got shortened (as described by Evans) in his own Cap 3 (Civil War aka Avengers 2.5) movie.

russos have been very clear that people who didnt get much screen time in a3 will get majority in a4. so i would expect a lot more of cap, nat, bucky, falcon, panther, ant man, hawkeye, captain marvel in a4 and probably a lot less time for people like doctor strange, thor, thanos, starlord, gamora, rocket who got the most screen time in this one

MayLily, the Russos have said in interviews that Cap wasn't even meant to be in Inf War 1, but the Marvel people were in an uproar over it and they gave him what they felt was decent enough exposure to satisfy Marvel and the fans, but not give away what they have planned for him in the second movie

i'm just throwing this out there but the way that Sebastian answered the question about Bucky becoming Captain America seemed a little too in depth and introspective for it to be a throw away hypothetical answer. and when talking about Bucky's emotional turmoil in taking up Cap's mantle 35:15 , he says "there was a guilt there that was a driving force for me" and he quickly corrects saying "for me" to "for the character"...... ???

Sebastian was talking in theory what would happen, he loves Bucky and gets deep into who he is. They're not going to rush Bucky into this or I hope so, not a good idea. Maybe at some point down the line.

Once they said that they have finished filming the next movie, any other interviews I watch instantly became more stressful to watch in my mind. These actors are being asked so many questions on these press tours. It has to be very difficult to consciously word everything you say so you don’t reveal any spoilers. Not only do they have to worry about revealing IW plot they have to think about the next movie too.

But.. but.. WHY LOKI? :´(( 💔 I know, he was overused and shit, but he had to go like THIS?! Loki can do shapeshifting, cloning, telekenesis, create illusions, frostbite, superhuman strenght/agility, traveling through dimension rifts and they give him a DAGGER? He is super smart and he *knows* Thanos had the Space Stone, since he just gave it to him, why would he be so stupid and try to stab Thanos?? I just don´t get it. If he is actually _dead dead_ , that was really diasppointing. I feel like he was being massively underrated in this movie. Lets hope for the best..

1. Loki is tied to Thor's story and Thor's story is likely coming to a close. 2. Hela and Loki are perhaps too similar to coexist in the movie universe. 3. Loki came back from death too many times. Third time had to be for keeps, particularly post-Ragnarok.

it made complete sense to close lokis story in these movies. he came full circle and was in a lot of movies. nowhere else for him to evolve and at least he did trying to be a hero.

Zed I agree with you. Bucky had like two minutes of screen time and yet Sebastian Stan is doing a lot of press tour stuff. It doesn't make a lot of sense but oh well... I hope that means at least that his character is going to get more attention in the future or something... I really liked when the winter soldier got brutal in previous movies.

The Russos have said that the characters who have a lesser role in this will have a more prominent role in the next one. And Spoiler: I know you're wondering how the dead characters could have a big role in the next one, I'm sure they've got a plan considering almost the whole cast in A3 are confirmed for A4.

He's actually given some moments: getting new arm while looking sad asking where is the fight, Cap's hug, Rocket teamup which is fans' fav; while he's a supporting cast. This is an Avengers movie which the Avengers minus Thor don't even get any actual character arc.

The way SS answered the question about a Winter Soldier solo movie is pretty telling that he will be in the Black Widow movie (a prequel) and that he will survive and become Captain America (not a huge surprise).

well he has a bunch of movies left on his contract so he has to be in some movies. not like hes gonna be in GOTG or something lol and I doubt there will be more avengers movies for quite a few years. black widow movie, winter soldier or cap solo film, black panther 2 as white wolf maybe

Menessy27 They're not doing any Cap solo movie. Phase 4 is fresh new start without probably the old Avengers, new line up and stories. Widow movie, Panther, Avengers possibly.

I wish I would have known this was happening today. I had the day off and would have went there. Instead I go and catch a 3pm showing of Infinity War for the 5th time. 😕 Continues to watch the interview. And they didn’t scream loud enough for Thor. He became a bad ass in this movie. I loved his entrance towards the end of the film. My whole theater was screaming and cheering. And the girl who had the last question I thought it was obvious why Black Widow has blonde hair in the movie. 😐

Yeah, the first half of her question was a waste and something she could have googled a good answer to. The second half was better, at least. Or maybe the answer given was better.
