In "My Scientology Movie," Louis Theroux explores the mystery that shrouds the religion of Scientology. Originally, the filmmakers try to involve the Church of Scientology, but it refuses. Theroux then teams up with Mark Rathbun, former senior church official, to create reconstructions of incidents, witnessed by Rathbun and others, that occurred within the church. As a result, the church puts Theroux and his film crew under surveillance, leading to camera-wielding confrontations. Hear what Theroux and director John Dower have to say about making the film. Interview at 692 Broadway in NYC for BUILD Series.

I do think, after watching the documentary, two things. Marty is fucking nuts and Scientology harassment tactics met their at match with Louis. I don't think much truly scares or intimidate him.

I think he left. His wife was able to sue the church. After the threat of a bunch of information was going to come out, they offered Marty and his wife a bunch of money.

My Scientology Movie premiered at London Film fest on October 14th 2015 before a release in UK theaters. North American release scheduled for March 3rd 2017. Wikipedia.

J.W is an organised religion, they shun and disfellowship people. The Governing Body interpret the scriptures, if you question that you’re out. All religions have cult like behaviour. Just look what’s happening in America, these nut jobs want God back in Government, but the God they believe in. Barry Goldwater warned America years ago. If these zealots take power. Most other religions are based off books that are thousands of years old before we had scientific explanations for the things people saw. So they created gods to help explain the apparently unexplainable. Some then claimed to have spoken to their imaginary gods and claimed to be prophets, with no science available to disprove their claims. Elrond wrote his bullshit in the 20th century not 3500BC. That does even touch on the content and beliefs held in his writings which are beyond insane. All religion is a load of shit.

We are ( much current research is reporting) effected by what happens to us in utero (so ummm it isn't the best example to use. I am sure there are much better bad examples.
