The guy is absolutely the best actor out of young actors on the show. He plays Halstead so naturally that the viewer feels like Jay is a real person, not a fictional character. Agree with the comment below, that Halstead always gets the hardest, dark cases. But this is why I love Dick Wolf, he doesn't run away from our grim and complicated reality, also complex reality in our police, Wolf shows all sides of reality, not just black and white. This is why this show is waaaay better procedural drama than all boring types of NCIS. On NCIS, no matter the case, the main team always remains the ''good guys '', while PD shows the characters as humans, who always, also make mistakes.

I love Jesse. He is such a warm, great guy. And hot as hell, his arms mmmm ❤ Also, Jay is the best character on this show. He always has the most complicated, real cases, just like with this terrible face recognition software. I just wish they would stop torturing Jay all the time.

All the Linstead fans and what about Erin. In the past and Gone. I feel for JSL who has worked so hard on developing his character from the earlier days. You cannot stay and keep living in the past. People ask why they are not so present on Social platforms now. This is why. The Jay part of Linstead, is not the same Jay in S8, which is down to JSL’s hard work. And Sophia has moved on, not just professionally, but personally.

Amen. This !! We used to get much more stuff from behind the scenes and personal stuff, on Instagram for example, but it changed exactly because of the intrusive fans who write bs comments all the time! Also, Jesse moved on personally too, a long time ago. He already was with Torrey DeVito after Sophia, and Torrey and Jesse broke up too, I also bet he has a girlfriend or is actively dating, trying with different people, right now. I mean, he is a great-looking guy, a famous actor, so it's obvious he always has an opportunity. So fans have to move on too, especially Linstead fans, they are really mental! Sophia moved on, Jesse moved on, the show moved on, yet they can't - pathetic !!

That’s my fav thing about Chicago med fire and Pd is the fact that they start filming the show like 2-3 weeks before the first episode is due to be released and then they don’t seen the final product of the episode until it comes out on nbc so they don’t know what senses stay in or get cut so it’s doesn’t get spoiled on fans by the cast accidentally spoiling it cause they don’t know what’s gonna happen
